By the bird bath. I got two roma tomatoes, an African basil, and a handful of cosmos starts from Johnny. I put cages around the cosmos temporarily until the get established to protect from the rabbits. I have to say tho, that since I'm dumping cayenne pepper everywhere, I haven't seen them much.

Other front yard plantings include salvias next to the walkway and a new dahlia by the chairs ("Gloria")

Added a cardinal flower to the front yard. Never tried one of these before. Two new-to-this-spot dahlias are planted too.

I added some impatiens to the fountain bed. Still need to do something on the north side. The two roses should fill it in to some degree tho.

The Crimson Glory rose has been sickly and rabbit abused since I got it a year ago. I think as a last gasp of "help me!" It gave me one flower. It's perfect and super fragrant. So now that I know what it can do, I'm pulling all the stops to revive it. Long way to go. It also seems to be quite disease prone. But it's priority 1 now!

Trying some Irish peas behind the apple tree. Might be too shady, but it's an experiment.

Planted pole beans under the bean trellis, the sweet peas also under there are barely growing after I transplanted them.

Planted some drying beans, Bingo and hhh in the gray pot with the jasmine and fuschias. Also by the trellis outside the kitchen.

Finally planted seeds in this raised bed. Rows in the order shown. Also planted Packman broccoli starts on the right.
