Biography

Eric’s mother was an addict. She was addicted to just about everything: drugs, sex, love. Since his mother had many affairs to remember, and even more she didn’t remember, Eric never knew who his father was. When he was nine his mother died of an overdose and he was sent into foster care. He stayed in various group homes until he was fourteen.

At that point, an aging, wealthy businessman who had recently realized he desired a family took an interest in him. Eric was reluctant to bond with him but the businessman was convinced that they were alike and that Eric was meant to be his son. His name was James Penn and soon after meeting Eric, he adopted him. Although eccentric, and old enough to be Eric’s great-grandfather, James was a good father. He was extremely intelligent, spoke eight languages, and was very well read. He gave Eric books and took him to the opera and to museums constantly.

Although growing up Eric found ways to rebel, Eric’s rebelliousness never fazed James. Though Eric was caught in fights and charged with breaking all sorts of laws, James would only shake his head at him and ask, “wouldn’t it have been more fun to watch a movie?”

In this way, Eric learned what paths were best for himself. When he graduated he had found a submissive to claim. Her name was Meghan and he loved her more than anything. She loved him too. Eric became a high school teacher. Meghan became a kindergarten teacher. When James passed, Meghan was there for him.

By the time they were thirty, all they wanted was to have kids. When they began to try, it seemed impossible. Three years into fertility treatments, the strip finally turned positive. But it wasn’t meant to be. Meghan carried the child to term but died during its birth. The child was stillborn. Eric felt like he had lost everything. He became like his birth mother and, for a period, lost himself to addiction. James had left him a fortune.

Technically, he didn’t have to work. Years passed and Eric withered away. Finally, one of his childhood friends found out how he was doing, and stepped in. He demanded Eric get into therapy and a rehabilitation program. Eric recovered—then he began studying therapy. Now a therapist himself, Eric is focused on helping others and finding a new claim.
