               “ I see. So are ya back for good now, or just visitin’? ” His gaze sharpens slightly at the brief intro, but other than that, his expression is mostly noncommittal.  He knows nothing about what she has experienced at the hands of Aizen, but he can venture a pretty good guess. 

          A large, lean hand gestures vaguely for her to recover from that deep obeisance. “ No need for that sorta thing here, Kudou-chan. I, too, lived in Karakura town for a brief spell; don’t think I ever met ya before though, even in passing. ”

“Back for good.” It was a choice to return to her origins that she wished her brother should just come as well but he chose to stay with Ichigo’s gang at Karakura. She had unpleasant memories with Aizen in the very past as she’d never want to recall it back. Focus on the present, not to the past.

“I see.” Hearing that Hirako lived there with the Visored seemed to be true, as it was thought rumored. They share the same thing of not meeting each other, though. “Maybe i was a part of Aizen’s side already before he started his captaincy.” Sighs as she would like to begin her work as a new member of the fifth to a new captain.

Sounds like the only thing left is their zanpakuto names and abilities. Nice to know their names, ancestral or not.

After seeing the original Gotei 13, it rose me back from the dead.

“Oh, right.” Breathing in and out, the reason why she returned to Soul Society is probably remembering her contribution was major during the Karakura battle. She was offered by the Captain-Commander captaincy but she declined and stayed once again at Karakura Town. 

Maybe this was a good chance for her to return to the squad she was used to before her exile.

He knows this one. That's definitely Abirama Redder, who served Barragan with a few of his Fraccion. Hearing the call, he couldn't help but to look at him in the empty terrain of Hueco Mundo.

THE GHOST

You walk unseen. You speak but no one listens. Your footsteps no longer make a sound, and your heart can no longer bear to beat. However, you do not walk alone. The past walks along side you, keeping you company though you beg it to leave you be. The only shadow you cast belongs to your pain and clings to your every move. If you could just get someone to look at you, really look at you, maybe then you could be free. You scream and scream but still they do not see. You’re starting to fear that you may be cursed to scream forever.

To be completely honest, the entire time the two vice-captains were walking side-by-side to whichever lucky vendor to play waiter and chef for their lunch in this sunny afternoon, Rangiku had been too busy deleting thirsty messages from the many males and females alike over the most recent candid selfie uploaded on her LINE (courtesy of the latest addition to her company’s former squad) to pay full attention to the raven-haired’s introductory speech—to the point it was only when her name was mentioned, alongside the unexpected official title, that she actually turned to meet the other in the eye.

“What’s with the formal moniker, Nanao? Relax, this isn’t the Lieutenants’ Meeting,” manicured fingers eventually clasped her pink phone closed and sent the device back to where it belonged: between the goddess’ famed, generous mounds.

“And what exactly do you mean, ‘that time’? If this was about what happened the other day, with the entire ‘Konsō Reisai gone wrong’ hanky-panky, shouldn’t I be the one to ask you what to think about it? You’re the smart one, between the both of us here—direct right hand to the Soutaichou himself, no less. Have you not heard even a smidge of what could possibly explain the occurrence of the incident before?”

“A habit of mine, sorry.” Every single time, she was too formal. Serious and formal at the same time that relaxing is very important as what Rangiku say. Maybe Shunsui was right about her needing to calm herself down to the formalities long ago. She’ll reconsider that in the future.

Though Soifon had taken a few steps ahead of the other, she did give pause when they mentioned the Fifth. Figures they’d pick there. “There isn’t much to see, unless you enjoy watching idiots,”

She sighed, bringing a pair of fingers to pinch the bridge of her nose before continuing down the path.  "If you insist on going there, I’ll take you up to the Division gates. It’ll be up to you to locate him after that,“

“Ehehehe. I guess i’ll have to find out myself then.” Embarrased as she was when Soifon said that the ‘Fifth’ which was her former squad were filled with idiots, she might be right depending on who was the captain there.
