Rules and Info under the cut whilst I work on my carrd.
I am not mutuals only, however I do prefer to be mutuals with the people I write with, just for my own state of mind. Feel free to reach out if we're not mutuals, I am a friendly sort!
I write Frank as AFAB Transgender. He is a man, but he is not a cis man. He's T4T with his partner ABBY, and he did carry his kids. This means that the subject of pregnancy, trans male pregnancy and birth will come up on this blog; he's very much not planning on having any more kids, though. I will do my best to tag anything that comes up with #tmpreg, let me know if you need specific tags.
Frank is stealth. He's not out at work, except to Dana, who was a massive help to him during his second pregnancy which was a really hard time for him.
Frank has experience with transphobia but generally passes pretty well, so most of what he hears is aimed at other people. He weathers it, but it's not fun.
Frank has chronic back pain, and issues with controlled substances; I do not think Frank was in the right for stealing from patients, but I also understand that addiction is a hard disease. Frank is a nuanced character and is definitely not perfect. Do not assume Frank defending himself is me defending him! He is an unreliable narrator!!
Frank struggles with ADHD, depression, chronic issues with insomnia and the after effects of his addiction, whilst still trying his best to manage his pain from a very genuine injury. He is not always kind, and he makes mistakes. Following on from Rehab, frank has issues with thrill chasing, eating, and a myriad of other problems that generally float under the surface. I will not be shying away from this. His mental health is bad, he struggles with self doubt, and that has been massively intensified since his time in rehab. Frank is an adult, and a sexually active one. I do not write him as a cheater. In some 'verses, he will have broken up with Abby. I'll get my verse tags on here as soon as I have them.

Communication over anything else. I am dumb as a brick. I will not pick up on subtext. If I say or do something stupid and piss you off? Come tell me. I want to grow and change as a human being, and I often won't realise. You can be direct. My feelings won't be hurt. I'd rather know than hurt you. If you feel the need to block me, please consider talking to me first. I have a crushing anxiety disorder and get attached easily. I am also an adult in my thirties. I really appreciate it if folks breaking mutuals are willing to tell me why. You don't owe me shit, of course, but again, if I've been a plank I'd like to know why so I can change as a person. The writer, Jay, hello! is a afab nonbinary and lives with a trans man. If you have issues in how I present Frank as a trans man, please discuss them with me?
You have my permission to powerplay to a degree in my roleplays, although I ask if you do want to do something dramatic just... ask me first? Simple as that.
