@mxrvelouscreations discussed for Robby tw. suicide attempt, overdose, suicide notes, suicide ideation, it's an all round bad time ok
Frank closed his locker, staring at the letter in his hands. The others were tucked away inside it, still; they would be found. It wouldn't take much to break in, and the hospital kept all their codes on record, so… as he straightened, his back ached. That wouldn't a problem for much longer, at least. With an hour left to the end of his shift, he'd placed an order for the medication. He had collected it to hand off to the patient, who never even knew it had been prescribed. It would flag, sooner rather than later; he knew how Robby was on checking on what Frank ordered.
He didn't care. The man was wrapped up in a trauma, and so he'd taken his opportunity. Deliberately picked the muscle injury; insisted it was an easy case, had nobody monitoring him but the nurses, said nothing and put the order in himself. Then collected it, and sent the man home with the instructions for ibuprofen, ice and elevation. Ten minutes later, he'd slipped into the bathroom, swallowed down half the pills with a full can of Coke before he'd been needed again and now…
"Hey, uh, can you hand this to Robby when you get a chance? It's not urgent, you can leave it here for him to pick up in the morning. Abby insisted we invite him for Tanner's birthday party," he rolled his eyes playfully, "I imagine he'll love the balloons and paw patrol decoration on it." he hadn't seen the other man for the last ten minutes. Hopefully he'd packed up and gone home. He moved past people doing their charting, said goodbye, leaving the letter at the nurse's station. Then he looped back, sliding into a stairwell and beginning to climb, up, up until he reached the roof.
The sun was setting. A beautiful view. He was already feeling the effects, dizzy as he wandered across, dumping his bag and sitting down heavily so that he could lean back against a bar. Elbows on his legs and a low, almost comfortable sigh, waves of numbness buffeting him. He'd probably taken enough, but he pulled his bag close, yanking out a bottle of vodka, and grimaced as he sipped it. Then he grabbed the rest of the pills out, starting to tip them into his hands. A half hour or so watching a beautiful sunset, falling asleep up here… seemed a nice enough way to go. Not that he deserved that, of course.
Of course.
