I have anxiety-induced hissing, which sounds/feels different from sound-induced tinnitus (which I have also experience). thank you lol i appreciate it, though if the point is to spread positivity about kink then maybe don't censor the word "kink". it implies that kink is inappropriate or dirty enough to not even be able to say directly. it also normalizes corporations dictating how you are and are not allowed to speak to a point where you are policing yourself (saying the word won't result in negative consequences on tumblr, you just made that decision on your own). perhaps consider how your kink positivity lands if you are making active efforts to sanitize it and censor it before sending it.

Weighed it and went a different way, with this ask & my own post abt it, on the basis of it being meant as a widely shareable thing. I figured the etiquette was in letting each blogger assume their own risk, as some ppl have gotten summarily deleted over lexicon. Some I've seen get the grace of the preliminary flag, others not; depending on the identity of the blogger, SFW blogs get censored too. current-tumblr seems to be doing a more scattershot precompliance than I've yet seen, & tbh, for me, that's an understandable source of caution for ppl (& so is Tumblr being a US based site, & the fact that there r multiple pieces of legislature, internationally, it could b precomplying, or complying, to).
Basically, it just felt polite to let each person decide their stance themselves, in the post body of their replies, especially bc I sent this to multiple artists, & idk who has their blog zip'd, or their body of work offline
