                    “Oh great, just who I need to encounter.

It wasn’t often that he walked around topless so casually. Actually you could say that he did so seldom if ever although one thing was pretty clear - it occurred more often whenever he was with Lucy.

Time passed and he tended to visit her more often rather than staying at his own shelter. He’d spent a lot of time travelling and never really settled down at one place for long. Until he promised her to try and change that one evening.

He’d lived alone and in a quite questionable way for so long that being here with her still seemed a bit surreal. But Freed definitely wanted to get used to it. For her sake. And for his own, too.

The rune mage was merely looking out of the window, a little absorbed in thought, when he suddenly heard someone walking over. He hadn’t noticed her stepping into the room which reminded him - god, just don’t become too unattentive. However, once the woman stood in front of him and promptly began to scrape her nails along his bared chest all his attention laid on her immediately.

The slow movement elicited a soft growl and something in his eyes switched in an instant whilst he regarded her, the words she let escape serving to make him smirk inwardly. He wouldn’t show that smirk just yet.

Instead he could only be astonished at how intriguing and sexy Lucy was and how she managed to capture him in a special way. The way she looked at him, the way she spoke, the way she approached him… everything.

And hell, he loved the confidence she showed him.

There was a quiet grunting noise, mien rather stern as gazed directly into her deep brown eyes.

                          “What if I am the temptation you shouldn’t give in to.

                                                               Toxic. Dangerous.”

His gaze roamed and so did his hands as they settled on the blonde’s rear and gave it a firm squeeze before tugging her in closer. For one spark of a second he finally flashed a smirk before then leaning to nuzzle the crook of her neck, taking in her scent for a moment until he let his warm breath brush her ear as he whispered.

                          “Except you alright did.

It was clear that the mage had never anticipated that Lucy had such a kind of humor. Not that he was complaining though, oh no. His own had always been and most likely would always been a peculiar sort of humor. Sarcastic, sometimes a little dark and it certainly didn’t changed when he began to change.

Actually it just intensified.

A small but distinct smirk was drawn on Freed’s features, the poke coming from her not bothering him a lot. Ever since he and Lucy had become closer after some unpredictable events and after he’d promised her that he would attempt his best to change for the better again he always tried to stay at distance from some questionable rather black morals he’d adopted in the past. And to lower the rate of suddenly disturbed people or mysterious murders occurring in the regions of and around Fiore.

Ah well…At times it worked. At times he still backdropped into his…bad shape.

                            “No, in fact we are not. I’d be better if we didn’t need them, wouldn’t it?
