this tweet has been fucking killing me
happy pride month
I actually think TF!Shelby could be a solid candidate for probable spies.
I mean, supposedly all of her family is gone, her motivation for coming to the academy are obscure at best, and she hasn't mentioned a specific detail ever.
Is this probably the rambles of a madman? Of course they are. But it would be fun and heartbreaking. Also, I think the fact we alredy kind of know of a spy in vulpes disproves anyone else, but I am not sure on the details (I only watch the elemental quartet POVs)
Every day it gets funnier that tf!Cam and Drift are roommates.
Just. the dynamic of Cam being a LITERAL Disney prince to the point of randomly breaking out into song. And everyone thinking he's weird as hell but going "I mean I guess he is a prince, maybe that's just how he was raised? Maybe that's just what princes are like?"
Then meanwhile you have Drift who is ALSO a princess and is TOTALLY NORMAL. Like, "No, guys, please understand that he does NOT have to act like this. This is weird by even MY standards."

A really cool thing about the idea of TF!Pyro being corrupted is that is TF!Pyro the only one who would push through emotions, understand the danger and show no leniency twoards the corrupted.
The rest of the quartet would probably try to defend it, to look for a cure or a way to get them back. I do think TF!Scott would not fall for it's lies, and that would convince TF!Drift and TF!Shelby. But they wouldn't kill it on sight. Not like Pyro did with Tim. And that would drive Pyro mad.
Another thing I see overlooked is that Maddy would be right there as the corruption spouts. Either she would become corrupted as well (unlikely) or just know because Ambi would be terrified of it.
Imagine the quartet saving them, only for Maddy to rush them away from Pyro, just so they imedietly try to make a whole dorm cover up while they try to cleanse them.
(I don't think Tf!Pyro is corrupted. And he better not be. They were supposed to survive this. And they better. Getting corruped and dying be such a lame twist for their tale)
Scott happened
// THE FLIGHT SMP SPOILERS //
tf!Maddy is in a SITUATION for the next month. imagine being trapped in a cage dangling hundreds of feet above the ground with no guarantee of rescue, and your only company is your baby dragon and a guy who you have a deeply complicated history with. sure, Pyro's sent their baby dragon for help, but said baby dragon can't fly, so she'll have to travel on foot for ages to get back home. and you have no way of knowing if she's safe because you can't even use your magic.
meanwhile, you get to sit and listen to your only companion talk about how he were planning to leave, and told a bunch of people of his plans, so they'll probably assume he just bolted as soon as he could. and, oh yeah, he had an encounter with the corruption and is now sick and unsteady on his feet. people might assume he succumbed to the corruption and brought you down with him. so your friends and the rest of the Lupi dorm might not even try to find you.
all you can do is bide your time. so you sit there and talk to him, whether you're bickering or lamenting or admitting truths that you never thought you'd admit. at least you're not alone, even if you are still furious with him. but you wait days and days, which turn into weeks and weeks... and there's no sign of Cindy anywhere.
and this leaves you with one question: why are you still here? these rebels could have easily killed you when they caught you. but they kept you alive for something. what do they want from you... magic? money? leverage? you don't know. and that's maybe the worst part, because it just means the anticipation is eating you alive, waiting for them to finally act. there's a chance they'll sacrifice you or use you as a hostage. or perhaps they'll leave you behind and you'll starve in this cage. maybe they'll change their minds and kill you once and for all. there's no way for you to know. all you can do is wait.
What if tf!Pyro's scar was caused in a scuffle with the city guard? What if, vain as he is and still figuring his own style after leaving Tegrith, the scar turns into an insecurity? It's a tiny thing, bearly a light line that crosses his eyebrow. It causes a clean shaven part on his eyebrow, the asymmetry of it driving him crazy. The detail upseted them, festering a deeper hatred for the guard and its 'brutality'.
He started appreciating the look later on as he grew bolder and more comfortable with their own skin. The scar a cool little bit of his apperence, not different from a mole or a spot. Just another cool little detail. But the hate never went away.
I do not for a second believe TF!Pyro is going to survive this venture (as in, The Flight.) In four projects I've seen him in, the only project he has survived is the one project he has no creative control in (whitepine).

After Drift's last stream is obvious, I need to start Legundo's TFsmp pov. Gotta keep an eye on the doomed fall covenant or whatever they're called
I’m just a girl in the world… that’s all that you’ll let me be
Alternative universe in where TF!Pyro never left Tegrith and comes into the Academy alongside TF!Scott.
I think that if we follow the route of canon, conserving the character's theme —ego, pride, and ambition— I believe they would have worked hard for a position of leadership since they were young, and has accumulated a reputation as a very competent leader among the youth and trustworthy among their elders. He has plans on taking over after Scott's mother, and has big plans for Tegrith that he believes will solidify him a good enough story once he is gone.
When the invitation to the academy arrives, in their midst of fighting the corruption back home, they stand in for a similar reason that why they left moffa in canon — a better story, one actually epic. Scott is encouraged to come as well because the community loves and trust them both, also Scott is known to keep Pyro's ego grounded while uplifting eachother. Basically, an accountability buddie. Both of them are also extremely competent, so it a bit of a safeguard. (This, mostly because I don't see Scott leaving otherwise.)
However, there's a character shift that could happen that I find far more interesting. The idea is that they arrive at the academy with their flame gone. He put off chasing his ambitions for too long, and now, it's too late. The fire of their ambition, the flame that made him want to travel and earn their tale, it all was smothered out under conformity, leaving only cold embers behind. It is after finally making a proactive decision of leaving Tegrith for the academy that he starts to feel that spark ignite again.
The desire of telling a good story never left them. But they had fallen into the idea that they had no chances left after so long putting it out for the community's sake. Now? With dragons? Places to see? People to meet? Now seeing everything they've missed out on locked into that tiny stone village? They're delighted, they're feeling a will to work and move in ways they haven't before.
They turn restless. Hungry. They devour knowledge, they cant stand being inside. They need to see it all. Its like their life is finally starting. Resentment for their home brews in their veins, always outlasted by their desire for a story, to finally be the hero, to matter.
The theme goes from the concequences of burning too high —too much ambition, too much ego— to the consequences of letting them burn out —letting ambition die out, smothering any ego. To how they can be re-igningted.
Every time something happens in The Flight, I thank that Millkberry is in the smp, like in general. Because otherwise, I would never have given it a chance.
I am so happy I ended into the Vulpes pov sphere. They are objectively the best dorm.
They're beyond comparing. Lupi has an absence problem and feles is feles. Idk what kind of emotional masochisim the feles standers have going on there. (Supportingly)

If we take accents as canon, TF!Maddy and TF!Pyro having the same (or very similar) accent, while TF!Scott's being so different from theirs implies that TF!Pyro trained out his accent to sound more like what is common in Moffa (or just didn't hold onto the Tegrith accent).
Pyro “I’m not afraid” Dagmeare being scared of prophecies, purposefully causing a rift between him and Scott for the small chance that it would negate their terrible fates, I hate him
