That four letter word which one could depict as dopamine or death. The utterance of pure bliss in totality itself. Right? But what form of love or what amount is acceptable enough that you no longer have any left for yourself? What will love cost you? Time? Health? Opportunities? Sanity? Better question-the one(s) you’re giving your love to is it truly reciprocated or are you just devoted because of how much you’ve invested? Is your current relationship giving you what you want or are you afraid to say aloud “as much as I love you; this Union no longer serves my higher purpose.”? We mask our desires and needs being met with mediocrity. “I awoke next to a warm body, had a form of sexual release, answered an email or two, ate something Ohh and grabbed a workout…I’m ‘satisfied and productive today’” 🙄BULLSHIT! The fact that you can even outline such a day sounds loveless and medial. Boring. Mundane. Vanilla. What passion did you pour into your last 24hrs? Are you actually being fucked the way your body yearns to be or used for another’s gratification? That’s not Love to me that’s comfortability. Routine. What makes one stay? What makes one leave? If I’ve learned nothing in my short time on this Earth I’ve learned that even the most basic routine needs to change from time to time. Or that “Love” we desperately cling to becomes more of an afterthought. Auto-pilot. And no muthafucking thank you to that shit!
