I adore requiem but I also have to admit that its painfully obvious that the story was rewritten a little later in development than usual and the story suffers accordingly
Alright so like Grace travels back in time and meets young leon is cute, yes, but what about Grace travels back in time and meets leon but also HER MOM. She can meet Wesker (maybe even mistakes him for Zeno and only then fully realises that Zeno is a clone, and how weird that is considering the differences between them) and then also meet her father before he goes through any form of regret and guilt and actually gets the time to really emotionally and mentally work through the fact that this is the guy who adopted her. The man who is, technically, her father, even if he is dead in her time. Meet Victor Gideon before he... you know. Turns grey. Meet Yoko and Cindy and all the other people who her mother survived Raccoon city with.
There is so much angst potential in the time travel concept for grace specifically. So many complicated feelings.

I fear Zeno has charmed me.
I know the general consensus is that Grace was born in 2004 but I honestly prefer 2003. If she was born then and stayed with Spencer until 2006 there's a chance that she remembers him a little and I find that idea fascinating.
Alyssa with a scared, confused little girl asking who she is, where her dad is, what's going on for months until that memory starts to fade. Alyssa becomes her mother, and the old man in her memories turns into a faded figure, more idea and feelings than person.
Maybe when she's 9 or 10 she asks Alyssa why they haven't visited "grandpa" in a while, and Alyssa has no idea what she's talking about until it clicks that she means Spencer and she simply accepts that as the new reality, telling Grace that "grandpa" passed away a while ago.

Exactly. she ruined Ethans life and Ethan forgave her, so who am I to hold a grudge when her primary victim doesn't give a fuck and had a child with her even after finding out about who she really is.
Also, I've been going crazy over Zeno since the release of Re9, and Wesker before him. The bioterrorism stuff clearly isn't a deal breaker for me when we're talking about fictional characters. I'm many things but I'm not a hypocrite.
