"Maybe you should go back go medbay? You shouldn’t still be this sick, sweetie." She sits across from him with a frown, reaching out go gently rub his hair. "I can watch the babies. I’ll be fine."
Gavin makes a weak smile, barely showing. Then he gets up and goes, albeit not at his usual clip, to medbay.
She watches with a small smile and eats alone, keeping an eye on the babies. After finishing, she brings them back to the room and lays them down for a nap, hoping Gavin is alright.
Gav enters the room silently, massaging his temples and adjusting the light to minimal and the soundproofing to it’s maximum. He then slips behind Nyx and burrows his face in her shoulder. Looking at her with wide brown eyes, he tilts his head slightly to lay a peck on her cheek.
She turns to face him with a soft smile, then kisses his forehead. “Everything okay? What did the doc say?” She flips herself over to face him, gently stroking her fingers down his arm.
“Chemical imbalance or sumthin’.” He murmurs, trying to keep her as unconcerned as possible. “I’m getting a migraine from stress as well supposedly.” His muscle formerly tense under her grip, relaxing at the light touch. “Said darkness, quiet and some food if I can keep it down.”
"Alright." She kisses his forehead gently. "We can do that. You stay here and rest. I'll take care of everything else, okay? I want you to feel better." She smiles softly and kisses his nose.
"I'm really sorry." Gavin says, returning her affection with a small peck of his own. Then he let's go and curls up in bed. Covering his eyes with one hand and his ears with the pillow, the guy settles in to at least rest.
