                        CAN we drop the ‘ e ‘ word already? 

"enterprise" is a top secret branch of the cia that deals with the most dangerous international criminals. jim kirk is the youngest and most aspiring head of said branch with christopher pike overseeing everything. their latest assignment? infiltrate and take down nero’s criminal empire.

Starfleet Admirals get fucking terrified when Captain Kirk bursts into their offices with both Commander Spock and Doctor McCoy by his sides.

            She understood, sort of.  She’d always known about other             realms, other lands, and that it was possible to travel between             them.  It was just difficult, and came, usually, with a great cost.             Most wouldn’t pay it, and considering how seemingly easily             and haphazardly he’d done so, she didn’t trust him.                                                Not one bit.                                 “Your ‘ship’ isn’t exactly what we recognize around here.                                   You can’t meddle in the lives of this kingdom by bringing                                  strange otherworldly items here.  You’re just going to                                  complicate our lives.  What are you even doing here?”                    That was the real question.  Somehow, she doubted they                    were there peacefully.  He didn’t seem like he was there to                    do any damage, but his sudden appearance, and general                    rudeness, didn’t give her any cause to be kind.

It seemed that the Enterprise had found a world that many would crave, yet he wanted a little reality. Any maybe that resentment and vague disappointment transferred in his interactions with her. But he  couldn't help it. Even James Kirk missed home sometimes.

         kirk even had the sneaking suspicion he was a l i t t l e bit          adventerous. after all, there was no way his wife owned the          entire planet. and he'd picked starfleet. which in the long run.          jim was surprisingly glad for. after all - he'd never exactly had           a friend like him.
