Long story short my bicycle was stolen this week.
Yeah. Hahhaha finally get back to riding & Some asshole decides that what I have worked for and put so much love into should be his.
A friend of mine told me to do my best to find the positives in the situation. As much as I wanted to I couldn’t find any until I started looking.
When I filled my police report & Gave the officer my flyer. He was both super upset for me & Stoked to talk about BMX with me. He was checking out my bike and asking me lots of questions. Alot of them pertaining to riding the newer bikes and not so much police stuff. The guy was so pumped to help me find my bike.
I was so appreciative of him. Before I left I made sure to shake his hand and thank him. His response was “Hell yeah we gotta get your bike back.
From there I went to every Pawn shop & Bicycle shop. Every burrito place I eat at. Every gas station I frequent. Just passing out flyers and realizing how I carry myself in everyday situations has led to alot of people on my side.
OH and I tracked down a pro rider that I knew was here in town. He was probably the most sympathetic to my cause and genuinely wanted to help me out.
I know I have been very emotional about this whole thing But my face must have told the whole story because he offered to go hit the skate park sometime once I got all this figured out. I thought that was incredibly nice.
So its been a few days now and I have calmed down a bit. The first few nights I sat on patrol in my car watching the street when I believe the theft took place. Just being crazy and waiting for some suspicious motherfucker.
I’m honestly glad I have seen anyone with my bike yet for the sole purpose of me not being in jail. I even told the cop that when he asked me why I waited almost a day to report it. He laughed and understood.
It just sucks that I had a few parts on my bike that cannot be replaced due to availability now & My set of DECO flatland pegs that were the only set in its color.
It will be my life mission to find those. Because If I see them. They are mine. No doubts or anything. They are mine.
SO YEAH. Going to build up a new one and not let this stop me.

Canadian scientists are trying to make your tomatoes tasty again
This article originally appeared on The Globe and Mail here. We hope you enjoy:
As palates have evolved, so have approaches to agriculture. Ann Hui reports on the Canadian quest for a flavour-forward tomato
David Liscombe is a research scientist with the Vineland Research and Innovation Centre, which is researching how the taste and flavour of tomatoes has been changed by the industrialization of agriculture.
From the time of planting, it takes between two and three months for an average greenhouse tomato plant to produce fruit. But by the time David Liscombe’s plants bear fruit this spring – glistening red, orange, and yellow orbs hanging down like charms from a ragged vine bracelet – those tomatoes will have been years in the making.
Mr. Liscombe is no farmer. Instead, he’s a biochemist who talks about his tiny potted sprouts and seeds in the same way the late Steve Jobs described iPhones – many of the details top-secret, and each product the result of endless research and testing.
“It’s an iterative process,” he said one recent morning at the government-funded Vineland Research and Innovation Centre in Niagara, Ont., where he works. Looking out at the empty greenhouse in front of him, he pointed to the areas where the “elite” lines he’s been working on since 2013 will be planted. Each of the over 100 varieties planted will be brand-new creations, the result of hours spent in a laboratory extracting and analyzing genetic data.

Stunning Images and Video of The Eden Project in Cornwall, UK
In the fourth feature of a film series documenting some of grimshaw’s most significant work, DesignBoom takes an exclusive look at one of the UK’s most popular visitor attractions — the eden project. Located in Cornwall, the design comprises a sequence of eight inter-linked geodesic domes, covering 2.2 hectares and encapsulating humid tropic and warm temperate regions.
The biomes’ cladding panels are triple-layered pillows of ETFE foil with maximum surface area and minimum perimeter detailing. ‘designing the biomes was an exercise in efficiency, both of space and material,’ explains grimshaw. ‘Structurally, each dome is a hex-tri-hex space frame reliant on two layers. the efficiency of the frame relies on the components of the geometric shapes: steel tubes and joints that are light, relatively small and easily transportable.’
Set within a former quarry, the enormous, yet lightweight, clear-span structures were partially inspired by buckminster fuller’s geodesic designs. the biomes received almost two million visitors in their first year of opening, with the eden project now the UK’s second most visited tourist destination outside london.

Badass!!!!!
What a marvelous cooperative arrangement—plants and animals each inhaling each other’s exhalations, a kind of planet-wide mutual mouth-to-stoma resuscitation, the entire elegant cycle powered by a star 150 million kilometers away.

Yes I will then explain the situation to you again about how were not friends at work & We weren’t friends in school.
I really didn’t want to be a dick but you are basically retarded. So I will keep re explaining to you why I am not responding to all the annoying shit you do at work.

I Remember That Conversation
What I took from it was that I would never put myself in that situation.
But here I am.
Trying to figure it out.
