Whilst I know there's no time or makeup budget in the world to put up with this but I do wish Sam had some physical scarring after the cage and I do headcanon that he has very fine scars across his whole body.

To be honest, I still haven't watched all of Buffy, including this arc but from what I know of it, I think Buffys experience of being brought back is very similar to how I have always viewed Mary's.
