#while i’ve been trying to figure out if i’m audhd it’s made me really hc this for him #his absolute hatred of light and heat? his obsession with studying?#his constant obsession with “this is the rule for this and this is the rule for that”#(read: his peri and beruka supports)#the bluntness in supports too like his one with felicia where he clearly doesn't understand why she would lie to herself #and he's very clearly just stating it as it is but it comes off as maybe unintentionally rude #or him just watching azura sing because he liked the music and her going “shame on you don't spy on people”#and he just fully ignores the implication that he would be potentially stalking her he literally just wanted to hear the music #his charlotte c support might be the biggest offender. she's trying to flirt and it completely goes over his head #he's just like “no i'm not hungry or thirsty. thanks for asking. anyways leave me be i'm trying to work”#i hate to mention the tomatoes but i am also going to mention his odd obsession with them #and i hope that this isn't me stereotyping by any means but it is something i've noticed #i watched a video once and they were saying that he's not like a over-the-top s/heldon co/oper autistic character #he's just like... regular guy who happens to catch onto social cues a little bit slower than everyone else #and i absolutely agree with that i think that he's definitely not like offensive cosplay of what someone thinks autism is #am i reading too much into this??? idk i think it's a really interesting read of his character #slaycation screaming into the void

Weird idea for a Corrin - Outlaw talent (wow Slaycation glazing Outlaw what else is new). But seriously, I think specifically in Rev this might be really good. Bows are already an amazing weapon to have. Outlaw gives you a Movement boosting skill AND a hit rate boosting skill. Literally every unit who can get their hands on that would really like it, including Corrin themself. Specifically for a Female Corrin, it's really good if you aren't planning on marrying either Niles or Shura, since the only female Outlaw you get is Nina, and I'm personally not a fan of relying on 2nd gen units to get Corrin friendships (same reason why I think Wyvern talent for M!Corrin would be really good - it frees up Camilla and Beruka and you don't have to slog through like 10 maps to get Percy born and then A supported to Corrin, and once again, both physical and magical units like Wyvern so it's not like your sacrificing you HS talent for this).

For Rev, what you can do is early Heart Seal into Outlaw, and then rush to get either Azura or Mozu friendship (or both). Azura is a fast friendship though so you can get that in like 4 maps. And then once you promote, go Kinshi Knight, and you have a Move +1 Kinshi Knight almost immediately who has Darting Blow in the event that your Corrin's speed fucking sucks. And then if you're able to get Mozu friendship, you can just auto level your way into getting Quick Draw as well. And this could work with both a physical AND a magical Corrin because the Shining Bow exists and you can just Conquest Nyx your way through a magical Corrin. With a +Str -Magic Corrin, you have a 65% strength growth in Kinshi. That's the same damage growths as Camilla, Xander, and Leo in their base classes, and it's even a higher Strength growth than Ryoma in his base class. So to have that on a Kinshi Knight is good. And then in the late game, you can get access to Bow Knight, which just lets you use swords, so you can go back to using the Yato if you absolutely have to.

And yeah, basically every unit you marry to Corrin is going to like having this class. I've mentioned why I love Niles/Camilla for that reason (I just love Niles/Camilla period for every reason though), Leo likes Move +1 and Lucky 7 from either Nyx or Niles, Nyx and Niles themselves get a lot of benefit from having it in their base kit, and one of the reasons why I love Nina is because she starts in this class and can pick up skills from other classes to boost its utility even further. So, for units who can't marry/friendship Niles, or you just don't wanna wait that long, this might be a good pick for them. For instance, Caeldori could be a good option for this. Corrin could pass down Move +1 and then you immediately have a 9 move Kinshi if you simply just promote her (now do I think that this is a beneficial pairing for Corrin? No because Azura exists). The weird one that I think could really work is Xander. Because he gets Bow Knight through Laslow too, but he doesn't have access to Movement boosters that he might really like. So he could go Bow Knight and get both Move +1 AND Strong Riposte and then go Hero if he wanted. He would also never lose Siegfried access. And Corrin would get Cavalier this way, which isn't a horrible class to have. This is quite late in the game, but it's available to you. Takumi would probably benefit from this, fast marriage, and will almost 100% give him free personal skill procs. Jakob can Partner Seal to this and then go Kinshi through Takumi friendship. Basically every unit that you want to end up in Kinshi Knight likes Outlaw a lot. But I also think that Movement +1 is one of the most "just go 2 levels in this class that's already good and all units benefit from it" in the game. Especially because Rally Movement is limited to DLC, you might not want a +Movement pair up at all times, AND there's only 1-2 things of boots in your average run of either Conquest or Revelation.

#sometimes i really just wish that outlaw was nyx's base class because that would immediately push her to “best mozu a+”#because mozu gives archer to 2 units who absolutely love it (effie and nyx. oboro too if you weren't friendshipping her to beruka in rev)#but then she doesn't really get anything in return from them. it's sad.#i bet heart seal conquest is insane for mozu and effie #effie a+ with elise to get wyvern? hello???#and then arthur marriage is just free cavalier? helloooooo???#and then mozu/nyx can do the same thing but with less seals and mozu gets outlaw? sign me up #just free ninja laslow and soleil. that's gotta go crazy #dark knight camilla probably isn't even that bad either. basically the same stats. she'd probably like that early heart seal lol #also troubadour leo probably sucks lmfao. you'd probably wanna swap him back too #slaycation screaming into the void

I always feel like such a chud when I give my units stat boosters for some reason lol. I'm a big hoarder of them because I either go "wait what if someone else is 2 points off the threshold after a rally and a tonic and a meal and whatever" (this never happens), or I'm like "I think Leo wants this more than my other units" (there is no reason that Leo needs it more it's just that I have a bias)

#i went in and stat boosted all my rev units finally recently and it was like ughhhhh #can i just give one to each of my units so i don't have to make a decision #i have an arms scroll and i'm like what the fuck do i even do with this #i think the plan is to give it to kiragi for pursuer access (spendthrift + bowfaire + pursuer + quick draw is one hell of a drug)#but then also what if someone else needs it lol #slaycation screaming into the void

I've always imagined that Leo and Nyx get married in the woods. I can't see them wanting the publicity that comes with a giant royal wedding, so they instead do it in secret with basically nobody else there except for siblings and stuff

#also xander officiates the wedding that feels right to me #i doubt a lot of corrin's army was even there tbh i think it was probably just the nohr sibs and leo's retainers #and if it's in rev the hoshidan royals?#and corrin and azura obviously i count them in the “nohr sibs” territory here haha #for nohr sib weddings in general i've thought a lot about this #xander has a pretty grandiose one because it's required of him as the crown prince (ryoma is similar)#it's very ceremonial and symbolic haha #for camilla i can see her doing something a lot more low-key. she still invites everyone that's closest to her heart #but it's somewhere private like a locked garden or something #as i said for leo i think he's the most private of them all and only invites siblings and retainers #and then elise i think decorates the whole castle like a disney princess movie and lives out her dreams of a fairytale wedding #and obviously depending on who you ship them with this changes but for my specific ships i like these best #slaycation screaming into the void #nyxeo

Continued Slaycation Bolt Axe slander

#here's my thing if you got one for free i think it'd be a lot better #i feel the same way abt levin sword leo. if he had c rank natively and/or you got a free levin sword at some point it would be much better #but you don't get any of those things #and people overestimate funds in conquest as a whole but also i just don't see why you need to build up an axe rank for bolt axe #when tomes are right there and you can immediately make them suit whatever you need #“bolt axe leo is good if he's in malig” WHY WOULD YOU TRY TO BRING UP HIS E AXE RANK FOR THAT #i've fucking done it before it's not worth it #brynhildr has like 10 might that is PLENTY for him. elise has even more magic than leo she can live on a fire +3 #the only exception is for a hybrid unit like niles or camilla or specific ninas (like camilla!nina aaaaa i got a caminiles rep in here)#and i'm actually abt to try bolt axe niles to see if that repairs my opinion of it lol #because he natively has better skill and lucky 7 (and more movement)#but niles istg if you fuck this up for me this weapon is dead to me #i am exaggerating a little bit but every time i try to use this thing it's actually just painful why would i not just use tomes #i vastly prefer shining bow because the classes you want to use shining bow in come in classes with hit boosting skills #archer is a whole ass 40 hit via certain blow. if a bolt axe user had that natively it would be much better tbh #as i said i think the path for malig elise is to go strategist and THEN dark mage for heartseeker THEN seal into malig #and just have her be a straight tome user. you get more long term use out of her that way #i do NOT like that damn axe on her it doesn't do shit #even in the late game she's hardly every getting a solid hit rate on it #slaycation screaming into the void

I do wanna just talk about the parallels between these two images. Takumi the first time you fight him vs. the last time. Imo they do a really good job of showing the progression of his curse and his descent in just fully being possessed. His bow glowing with the powers of the Dawn Dragon and then with the power of Anankos.
