ᴇɴᴅʟᴇss ғᴀʙʟᴇs.

      lexi  realised  there  was  a  reason  she  had  never  tried  to  intervene  before.    she  was  an  observer,  that’s  who  she  was.  she  often  imagined  that  her  parents  weren’t  really  her  parents,  and  that  her  sister  wasn’t  her  sister,  and  that  her  house  wasn’t  even  really  her  house.  that  it  was  just  a  movie…one  that  she  was  writing.

i used to dream of a life where we could just be us, you know? with no green goblins or venoms making everything such a horror show. but here’s the thing—that wouldn’t be us, would it? because it wouldn’t be you. as much as it might scare me or frustrate me or, yeah—even endanger me—i can’t change that. i don’t want to change that. the guy I’m in love with is a hero. he puts on a costume and risks his life to help other people for no reason other than it’s the right thing to do. and, yes, that burden he carries around is why i kept pushing him away, but now i’m starting to realize—it’s also why i kept coming back to him.

                                                    ɢᴏ ɢᴇᴛ ·ᴇᴍ﹐ ᴛɪɢᴇʀ 

the people who consider you weak have not yet noticed the wolf hiding behind your eyes, nor the flames inside your soul. let them think you are weak and do what wolves and fire do best. surprise them when they least expect it.  you were born with a fire inside you, and this world is determined to stamp it out. you will see it when you stand up for yourself and you are told ‘it isn’t ladylike to raise your voice.’ but you must never let them take those flames down from within your soul, Instead, you must burn brighter than ever because you are a daughter of the sun, and you belong only to yourself, not to this world.

we have calcium in our bones, iron in our veins, carbon in our souls, and nitrogen in our brains. 93 percent stardust, with souls made of flames, we are all just stars that have people names. those who doubt you, do not know you well enough to understand how much you have been through, they have not seen your scars. those who believe in you, are the ones who know how much you have had to endure and how truly fearless you are.
