you always taught me to do the right thing,  she said and that, he did. from their first very lesson ago, all those years ago. anakin had tried to install that nature into her. to always follow her gut instinct, to listen to her heart, more so than anything. his mother and his master had taught him those lessons and he, had passed them down to her. it was heart warming to see, that she had actually taken in his words. that his lessons, had made an impact on her and stayed with her â even when he wasnât there.  â right. i did teach you that⌠and iâm glad you actually paid attention to my teachings, little one. iâm proud of you. â  though the thought of her, being around the pyke syndicate. left an off taste in his mouth, which only grew more-so, when she poked fun at him, for calling padmĂŠ by her title and not her name.
â i â i donât know what you are talking about. or this⌠secret. thereâs no secret. nothing to hide. me and senator amidala are friends and nothing more. â  who was he kidding anymore? but points for him, still trying to push forward that lie. to keep his marriage, locked under lock and key. though at her next statement, did his eyes begin to widen. padmĂŠ had been in contact with ahsoka, during this time where he was absent. the war had gotten rougher, since ahsoka had left the order. anakin couldnât even recall off the top of his head, the last time he was even on coruscant. he was greatly missing his wife, but there was something about knowing⌠that she had remained in contact with the young togruta girl, that he considered his own⌠a daughter, more than a padawan. and helped her through her time of need ; when anakin could not. it warmed him and a gentle, and small smile grew upon his face. cheeks greatly increasing in their redness and eyes lowered to the ground.  â youâŚ. you have? youâve spoken to padmĂŠ? a-about what? what has she been saying? â  and there he was, the husband desperate to hear about his wife. the woman he so desperately missed.
   Ęá´ á´Ąá´s á´Ęá´á´á´
á´Ň Ęá´Ę.  she couldnât describe the feeling that filled her at those words. proud. he was proud of her. she was certain that it was akin to a daughter and her father, but either way, it meant something to her. more than anything in the world. SHE MISSED HIM. missed everything about being around him. missed being trained by him. heâd taught her so much, yet there was more to be learned and she knew that much. but would it ever happen again? maybe. maybe if she came back, if the jedi order allowed her back? would things be the same?   â well, you were a good teacher, master. even if things were difficult at times. â  shrugging her shoulders gently, she allowed a light smile to grace her features as she peered back up at him.   â but iâm glad youâre proud. i know iâm not your padawan anymore, but... when things got bad, i thought... what would anakin do. and it worked. â
oh, so he was still sticking to the whole idea that him and padmĂŠ were only friends. okay, if he still wanted to pretend and lie to everyone, including herself... then she was definitely going to poke fun at her ex master.  â youâre really going to PRETEND like i didnât figure things out a long time ago? master, i was the one who had to wait around with her handmaids while you two discussed politics. â  grinning, she raised her brows in a knowing way before she shrugging her shoulders a little.   â but okay, fine, if you want to play that game still, weâll pretend. and i wonât act like iâve known about you two for so long. but i gotta say, master, this just proves i am amazing at keeping secrets! BETTER THAN YOU! â  flashing him a big grin, she nodded her head gently at his questions. padmĂŠ had been this amazing presence in her life, before and after she had left he order. sheâd been this mothering figure to her that sheâd been lacking at some moments, and if she was being honest, she wasnât sure sheâd had survived this long without her.   â sheâs been... AMAZING, master. gave me somewhere to stay until i was sure of where i needed to go. she kept me informed about everything that was happening. your not so secret wife is a gift, master. i mean it. iâm not sure what iâd have done without her. â
