the way alicent got caught trying to escape after being treated more like an annoying guest than an actual prisoner, and certainly far better than all others who partook in the usurpation (who are dead, which is something i think alicent's forgotten considering how much she complains about the treatment rhaenyra has reserved for her and helaena - everyone else is dead and alicent is acting like rhaenyra's some crazy and mean bitch for making her stay in a room), and still fucking complained about there being consequences

also love how she's the one who tells rhaenyra about helaenaβs pregnancy, and when rhaenyra's like "ok", alicent starts just listing out a whole bunch of options as to what rhaenyra could do to the kid - idk if she's just thought about it so much she needs to say it, or if she wants to give rhaenyra some inspo
and again, her saying "if you must be cruel, let it be me who suffers", already putting it in rhaenyra's head that whatever she does as a direct reaction to alicent's own actions, is just cruelty - it's so gaslighting girlboss and i love that for her, but at the same time i really wish somebody would point it out
because at this point with every character apart from daemon and aemond of all fucking people, everyone seems to be fully blind to alicent's more manipulative side, and i feel like i'm going insane whenever i point it out bc i feel like iβm the only one who sees it
