he really was a great addition to the show, and one of the very few good and redeemable parts of this whole season

did i hate the way daeron flinched whenever they were together? obviously

do i think he had questionable morals? 100%

but this is a tv show, i don’t need the characters to be angels to like them, bc nobody is getting hurt so who gives af - every time ormund was on screen i knew something was about to happen, and i loved him for it

plus james norton ate this role up, and i’ll miss seeing that face on my screen

on one hand, if rhaenyra wins, she'll be stuck with a sister who she believes will harm both her and her children - her son would probably be taken from her, jaehaera would probably be sent away as well, to avoid her having kids and aegon's line continuing, and helaena herself would probably be married off again once aegon died (either to create an alliance for rhaenyra or to "thank" someone who fought for her)

but on the other hand, if aegon wins, then she's back to living the life she lead before, being his queen, watching their son be forced to ascend no matter what he wants, as jaehaera is married off to whoever offers most - and plus, we know aegon's cock doesn't work anymore, but who knows if helaena does

so either way, she remains a captive in the keep for the rest of her days

oh yeah and let’s also not forget that she’s a child bride who (book canon, idk about the show) was married off at 13 and had kids at 14, and not that long ago watched two men cut off her son’s head

beating up and insulting someone who has a dragon (and who is about to get on said dragon whilst still drunk/very hangover) is a choice

i understand that she thinks the prophecy is about her so in her head it all lines up, but the whole “i am rhaenyra the chosen. i am the prince who was promised” is just… yuck

love the idea of sunfyre stalking aegon from the shadows to guard him and keep him safe, and when the time came, he protected his bonded without hesitation

he only bonded with rhaena because she gave him food, and now he's getting bullied by two dragons who want him dead for reasons he doesn't even understand

i understand that caraxes and syrax were just trying to protect their riders, but i felt so bad watching him crawl away all alone and crying out in pain :(
