Enderdemic's Adventures

So just when things seemed to be getting close to evening out a bit I find myself in yet another financial crises. To make a long story short due to a rough week last week, a lower paycheck due to hour cuts because of a technical problem that shut down most of the factory I work at, unexpected medical issues for everyone in the household, utility shut-offs, various other unexpected expenses, spending $15 on food that is supposed to get me through two weeks (which isn’t likely), and certain charges not going through when they were expected/supposed to, my account ended up overdrawn by about $20 yesterday without me knowing. My bank then proceeded to charge me a $148 overdraft fee for it. I don’t get paid again until the 31st and every day my account is over-drawn more fees will pile on. I cannot afford two weeks worth of overdraft fees, especially when I need to pay rent with my next paycheck.

So I desperately need money right now to try and fix this!

Right when I think things are looking up life loves to shit in my face!

First off I want to apologize for disappearing again but I still haven’t gotten the whole computer issue taken care of because of money issues and all. I have another computer that my awesome friend gave me to help out but it doesn’t connect to the internet so it’s only for stuff like art and writing. I’ve been away mainly because tumblr appears to be one of those websites that tends to cause my old computer (the one that connects to the internet)  to overheat and crash.

I finally got a new job with more hours, more days off, better pay and actual benefits. All good right? Well… I’ll get to that in a moment… Long story short I have suddenly found myself a few hundred dollars in the hole and unable to fix it and if it isn’t fixed that amount is going to continue to grow by hundreds everyday. Basically, unless a miracle happens I’m screwed! I am very much still open for commissions (especially since I have a computer I can do art on again) though I’m not expecting it to save me because I only seem to get commissions once in a blue moon if that… If you want to commission me then AWESOME! You can find the information here! I literally have no money coming in until the 24th and no idea how to get myself out of this hole. I can’t even take out a loan to cover it because I’m still paying off a loan I had to take out to cover something else a while back. I guess what I’m trying to say is I’m desperate and I need help.

So I got this wonderful notice in the mail today… Basically if I don’t pay up about $130 by the 18th our electricity could get cut off. Now, I’m still paying off the loan I had to take out to pay them after our power got cut last month and can’t risk power getting cut again, especially when my boyfriend who lives with me has severe health issues (both physical and mental) and we have birds who have certain environmental needs that could get sick if the temperature gets too high or low and one of them is currently laying. Not to mention the fact that I need to be able to work on art on my computer and such so basically I have no choice but to pay this with my next incoming paycheck which was supposed to go to paying my phone bill so that doesn’t get cut off while I wait for a potential call about a new job I applied for.

And to make matters worse paying this is also going to make me short on rent and I’m fairly certain or landlord wouldn’t hesitate to kick us to the streets considering he gets pissy with us when our rent isn’t even late or the post office ends up bouncing it back and fourth uselessly. Seriously the man has called up and bitched at us asking where the rent money was when the check was in his mailbox and he just hadn’t bothered to to check for it yet.

And mind you we still need to eat and get to our jobs somehow which also costs money.

Throwing this out there again because we’re still really in need. We’re still getting cut-off notices and trying to put aside enough for rent while struggling to feed ourselves. Even if it’s something small (chibis and eye close ups are generally under $10 (and honestly I would be thrilled to do a whole bunch of eyes because they are pretty much my favorite thing to do ever!)) it can help a lot.

I won’t go into all the details but we are in a very bad situation where we live, we have been for months. We’ve been getting pummeled with one misfortune after another. As soon as we manage to solve one major problem we seem to get hit with about five more. Utilities are getting cut off, we’re struggling to make rent, the city is coming after us about things we don’t have the money to get seen to, we can barely afford food (there are days where I try to just sleep through the hunger pains to try and make what little we have last), we’re hundreds of dollars in debt from trying to keep out heads just above water, we can hardly afford the cost of getting to our jobs half the time, and we could easily get uprooted from our home because our landlord wants to sell it and intends to start showing it while we’re still living here.

I’m not trying to beg for handouts, I’m just trying to find ways to bring in a little extra to help us out in what little free time I have. If you could commission me it would be extremely helpful! I know my art isn’t that good, as evidenced by the fact that no one has ever commissioned me ever before so I’m not sure why I think this might work this time around, but I need to try something because our lives are literally falling apart right now.
