for my matisse por portrait I decided to draw Bergenfield AB. matisse tends to use bold lining i did similar strokes with my marker to point out her bold features in her face and highlight them with different strokes of colors that relate to ABs Aura.

My puppet name is Mr.ribbit, i designed him to be a slinky for puppet so i wouldn’t have to do too much to have it dance by itself. It also felt like the slinky design flows with the frogs aesthetic. As for the song i chose, “dame tu cosita”. i thought it was a great pick because it just made sense, plus its catchy.

for my futurism project i created a human like robot, which i believe would be us in the near future using our eyes to scan acess to any and everything regarding our own personal information,identity, acess to bank staements, access to locks on your house, car door etc. to go along with the futurism technological scene i also tried manipulating and inverting my colors to give it a glow in the dark effect once placed under different lighting.

the accessory i decided to create was a pocketbook. and i used the idea of simplicity with a simple cardboard box and and strap to create the purse. i’ve also try to include our generations fashion statements by labeling what the object actually to point out its multifunctional use. the labeling of my purse is was inspired by popular fashion designer Virgil, who founded OFF- white.

for my cubism project i decided to use cutouts from an magazine to label the items i consumed in a day. so for breakfast i had sleep, then snacked on starburst and an apple leading to a beautiful homemade pizza i later had for lunch. i hope you can visually see the menu and commonality in color that my food items consist of.

i decided to use this picture for my portrait piece. i figured with capturing the little details like my cousins shirt and his stiff braids can emphasize the mischievous nature he gives.

For my impression I decided to paint a baby browser from Mario kart, I grew up loving Nintendo games, and now this all my friends and I play.

Photoshopping pictures to make yourself appear flawless automatically fuels a negative beauty standard. This creates a new norm in declaring what human flaws are acceptable. I feel in today's culture true Beauty no longer exists because everything is created by man. 

for my self portrait i based it off of this picture. used rasberry tea to compliment my skin tone against the yellow highlighting i attempted with tumeric ginger tea. I also used oil pastels to add the detail of the painting in the background.

for this week's assignment, I've decided to tap into my childhood and create a fashion vision board. Growing up fashion was one of the biggest things I was into, besides teen wolf, and creating this style/vision board made me feel nostalgic. It also included the cap and gown image above a confident woman to show the promising future things obtained in the upcoming year, diplomas, and more styles. I believe this vision board reflects me at ina beginning of my prime.

I feel like my collage defines me and I was able to incorporate two of my favorite colors into my magazine cutouts and. began to see the colors stem from pink and orange then red, then brown, and quickly purple.

I chose photographs of natural surroundings and flowers for my collage, but because I am naturally inspired by them. I love the colors pink and orange and some of my favorite activities surround these colors:  watching sunrise and sunset,  to the theme of my room, my favorite. starbursts and some of my favorite things in nature are surrounded by the colors pink and. orange. I also tend to think that aura gives off the colors of pink and orange. I decided to make some of the aesthetically pleasing images pull out some of the things that attract my positive vibes with my pink and orange aura.

Hey everyone I'm Marline. I'm a senior at Bonaventure and I'm from Brooklyn New York, My favorite thing to eat is breakfast food but only past breakfast time. I'm so excited to get to know everyone and see everyone's artistic styles.

A common theme that came across in my artwork is the sense of peace. In my first two art, I incorporated the acts of service and peace but overall I decided to use two strong colors that I believe represented my energy and aura, which in a sense was power and happiness. Coming through finals week I feel at the top of the biggest mountain I ever have to climb. Knowing that now I can continue my college career stress-free from the horrors of the Capstone and truly enjoying the knowledge that I'm learning brings a sense of coming and happiness which is what the yellow in my painting represents. As opposed to the red it combats the yellow and follows The Strokes in the lines of the yellow to show all the anger I had and the anxiety and all the negative emotions and throughout my artwork of just freely painting I was able to see the beauty behind it.

In this piece, I decided to make a  flyer that gave out study tips to help students beat testing anxiety during finals week. I decided to hang up Marlow study tips along the library hoping that educating people on these little tips to avoid testing anxiety which is something I struggle with heavily would help lighten their day. Doing this act of service within the holiday spirit and I was so happy to do this artwork. 

I created an outdoor artwork using rocks inspired by Andy Goldsworthy. Going along the themes of peace I decided to create a peace logo using rocks, simply to share serenity during the holiday seasons. I thought it was so cool to recreate a piece logo with rocks especially since it was such a 70's inspired thing to do.
