{Text}: Well... that depends on the type of party. Aren’t some students still on cleaning duty from the last wild party Logan busted?

Kurt shrieked a bit when he was almost dropped, and quickly wrapped himself around his saving angel, his tail securing itself to her along with his limbs. It only occured to him after the fact that even if she’d dropped him, he could have just teleported to the ground. He was so used to not being able to use his powers, it hadn’t come to mind.

But soon enough, he was being lowered, and he quickly let go of her as to not make it too strange. He panted a little from adrenaline and looked around rapidly, making sure no one had seen them. This was the furthest from home he’d ever been before, and he’d just taken the chance that the old memory of a quiet place would still be as quiet as it had been before.

He turned back quickly when he heard her speak, blinking in confusion at her sincerity. “Zat – Zat vas me,” he said, staring at her with huge, golden eyes. “I am – I can teleport.” He watched her. “…You are not scared?”

Her heart was still racing from all the excitement, and every breath she took was still deep. She shook her head ,”No.. well... yeah? I mean, I was scared. Not by you though. That certainly did catch me off guard, but the threat of getting shot out the sky was kinda the highest alert in my mind. I’m just really glad I didn’t drop you. Sorry about that, by the way...” her words trailed off as she caught herself rambling.

“Anyway... we kinda skipped introductions and courtesies. I’m Makayla,” she stuck out her hand for him and gave him a smile as if their lives weren’t just in danger a few short moments ago. “You can just say Kay for short too. Most people do.”

Jasmine wished she could be eased by Kay’s words. She wanted to believe her desperately, but she knew better. She knew exactly how dangerous she could be. Breaking someone’s windows was the least of her problems, really. If she was able to shatter glass in the blink of an eyes, one could only imagine what kind of damage she could do inside someone’s brain. And Jasmine was dead scared that, one day, things would go so terribly, terribly wrong.

She did believe, however, that she wasn’t alone. It was soothing, even if just the slightest, to know there were others and to know that they were finding their paths somehow. To find there maybe was help to even do so. Jasmine let a smile come to her lips for a moment as she used her fork to poke at her salad. She didn’t take a bite just yet.

When Kay spoke again, she lifted her chin, and her shoulders shrugged lightly. “I-I’m not really sure. I just.. I kinda always thought I was just crazy.” An awkward giggle escaped her lips, but she spoke the truth. “I know most are a lot.. younger than I am.”
