Materials:

White and black thread and needle

Light grey marker (forgot to add to the image sorry!!!)

Liquid silicone glue or hot glue

Little bit of paint of ANY kind. white and black. i used kids craft paint

Stuffing of any kind. i gutted a dollar store plush!

Blue button for his eye

Clay or cold porcelain for his other eye

Felt in the colors:

White

Black

Red

Pink

Yellow

Tan (skintone)

Purple

Baby Blue

Brown

Optionally, a shoelace or ribbon of some kind if you want him to be hangable

Disclaimer! you really really dont need much felt for this project, print the pattern first and buy accordingly!

Instructions:

Cut out all the pieces, use the placement guide to make sure you got everything! it should look vaguely like this. Use the grey marker to draw the pinstripes on his suit

2. Start gluing layers. pretty much 90% of him is glued! easy as hell, you dont need to sew anything yet

liquid silicone is very strong on felt, and very fast drying so be careful with this step (i messed up and put his scar upside down on his front!!! dont be like me!!!)

3. Make and attach his mouth.

To make his mouth, take a square of red felt a little wider than his mouth hole, fold it in half and sew it by the sides. if you feel its too deep before sewing, cut it!!! make it as deep or as shallow as you deem appropriate

once you have the pocket made, carefully put glue on the opening, and glue it to his mouth hole

4. Eyes!!!!

To make his right eye, mix a bit of black paint into your clay (i used cold porcelain) and form it into a bit of a squished circle, when its dry, glue it down. Doesnt need to be perfect, but dont make it too flat.

Then cut a slit in a pink felt circle and stretch it over the clay, snip the edges of the pink until you feel it looks nicely rounded, and glue it over the clay

For his left eye, i like gluing down the sides of the button so it doesnt move, and then just simple stitch it into the felt.

You should be left with something like this so far

5. Sew!!!!

Start by blanket stitching the two halves of his body together, but stop before the head, you wanna stuff his body at this step!

After you get his body done, start stitching both sides of his head, but stop a little bit after his tufts so he can be stuffed.

This is also the point where you would grab a piece of shoelace and ribbon, make a loop with it, and glue it to his head if you want him to be hangable, otherwise you can just skip it. then you can just stuff him and close him up!

6. Bandolier

Every franco is personalized, so i opted to not put this piece in the pattern and explain it instead.

Just cut a long thin strip of brown felt and pose it how you want it to sit on your franco, the just cut the excess and glue the two pieces together

7. Mouthhh

Mix a little bit of white paint with you clay and shape it into teeth, again, they dont need to be perfect, were making franco!!! wait until they dry and glue them to his mouth with his tongue

8. YOURE DONE!!!!!

from the Murkoff Chronicles, Issue 3: this "cuban situation" (presumably when fidel castro came into power) began in january, 1959. angela was "only a couple years older than franco" at the time of their affair.

Franco likes to put on a really big front. You could, for all intensive and cringe purposes, categorize him as a tsundere. He thirsts over people but would rather be caught dead than be seen by anyone (outside of the bedroom) as a needy baby who’s chasing a girl because he’s so desperate. He’s got a reputation to uphold! He’s a scary mobster who could get any girl he wants! He doesn’t “need” anybody. He raised himself so why should he be worried about relying on anyone?

Franco idealizes relationships more than he actually likes them. This is probably why Jenny got slimed even though she was his “favorite” of all the hookers. To be fair there’s a lot of possible reasons. An acorn could’ve dropped on the roof and he opened fire (funny police reference haha). But seriously he’s most definitely the type to be extremely turned off my emotional closeness.

The first couple of months dating him are (for his standards) great. He spoils you and revels in the attention and love. But then you start asking questions and being in his business. Bugging him about things like where he goes at night. He looks at other women on the street and your relationship starts to feel like a ball and chains. He wants someone new to love him all over again. Someone who doesn’t know anything about him, and will just give him love just because. Not because they feel pity for them, or because they “have to” because they’re in a relationship.

I think seeing how frequently his dad changed women it set something in him psychologically to like a revolving door of girls. He’s a greedy pig who wants it all without giving anything in return. Mostly because to return is to open yourself up emotionally and take responsibility for your immaturity. This man will never grow up.

I’m also a firm believer that after sex he gets CRAZY post nut clarity. He gets really embarrassed about the fact that he enjoys being babied and being vulnerable, even though it’s a guilty pleasure he only really gets to indulge in the bedroom. During sex he can make himself believe that his partner sees it as an act. That way he gets what he deeply craves without feeling vulnerable or like a big baby bitch. Outside of the bedroom, there’s no playing a fool, so he avoids it avidly.

That being said, like avoidants do, if you dump him or tell him how you feel he’d blow up on you and ghost you. Then come back after 2 months begging you to come back saying how sorry he is and how he wasn’t in the right head space (he’s not sorry he’s been with 10 other girls since you’ve been gone.) Quick and easy validation fuels him a lot which is why he loves hookers and cheating, but deep down he still wants someone that will love him unconditionally so he’ll always go back to the same person until they’re absolutely over his ass.
