EMPEROR OF WHAT, EXACTLY?

Years ago some 12 year old kid was so obsessed with Lego’s Bionicle line, he was led to believe that he was actually one of the characters. In fact, he was so sure of this that he got interviewed for a book about “Indigo Children”.

No, this isn’t some odd fanfiction, that boy was me.

It’s based loosely on the history of a 15th century King and queen who refused to side with the sultan… Some protestors thought it shed the queen in a bad light and then some thought it painted the Muslim sultan in a bad light for being a Muslim. I watched it first and then read the history afterwards and I think that was the better way to do it… There is a pretty powerful scene at the end I didn’t know was coming.

I pirated the movie >. > and had a hard time finding English subs but eventually did, otherwise I think it’s rentable on Amazon…
