PT BR | Projeto “Trans masculinidad e s “ nasceu pela urgência de representar corpos plurais e diversos de trans masculinos binários e não binários, estes corpos e vivências tem muito a dizer, e escolhi algumas pessoas que me senti inspirado ao ver suas fotos e relação com o corpo, sua construção de identidade e sua expressão e ilustrei nesta série.

ENG | Project “Trans masculinidad es” was born by the urgency to represent plural and diverse binary and non-binary male trans bodies, these bodies and experiences have a lot to say, and I chose some people who felt inspired to see their photos and relationship with the body, his identity construction and his expression and illustrated in this series.

Despite all of this, Hayseed is a friend. Look at those placid, beautiful eyes. Hayseed is just a large lad who doesn’t know any better, and he must be protected.

Unfortunately, my posse disagrees with me. I catch them throwing molotovs at Hayseed while he gambols in a field. One time, I got off my horse to hogtie my good friend Matt for chuckles, and his brother Jake jumped on Hayseed’s back, gave a peal of joyous laughter, and immediately ran Hayseed off the nearest cliff. To Jake’s horror, while he died upon the jagged rocks, Hayseed survived the fall and got up. I gave him oatcakes, brushed his beautiful mane, and whispered apologies in his ear.

I say that having watched BoJack Horseman. The difference is that BoJack is about mental health and cultural critique whereas Tuca & Bertie is about friendship and adulting. The former is cynical, the latter is indulgent. Both have merit. I just want more indulgence.

I will be as obnoxious as I need to be in order for more people to try this show because it’s so diverse and brilliantly written. We need more adult cartoons like Tuca & Bertie.
