They undress, together each other. It’s harder in such a small space - there is fumbling and laughter and apologies, but eventually they get it done. He shifts them, so she is beneath him, and he settles on top of her, his hands bracing her sides, beneath her breasts, his mouth exploring hers and moving down, down. Down her jaw and neck and collarbones, hands exploring her reverently, listening to all her small sounds, even now, restrained. He is unashamed of his desire for her, and it is obvious. They are together, and then they are one and it is better than he imagined, more than he wished for. They move together, in tune with one another, and he lets her know how good it feels, how much he loves her. It isn’t long and drawn out - they want one another too much for that. But it is thorough and he attends to her, makes sure she is enjoying herself as much as he is.
When they finish. he stills within her for a long moment and simply gazes down at her, before he turns to lay on his back, breathing heavily, the tent warm now. He holds her hand, fingers entwined and kisses her knuckles. They are not forced into abstinence. It’s simply always been easier for him, as he is not the type to couple without attachment. And that…that is true now. He is attached to Jixi. Has been for some time. If this is the only time they can be together, that’s fine. The memory of her, of her smell and taste and feel will sustain him. but he certainly is attached. He turns to her, onto his side, and she presses against his chest, head ducked. His heart hammers and he’s sure she can hear it. They fall asleep like that, naked and sated and having discovered something new about one another.
When they awake, Obi-Wan realizes first that he isn’t wearing any clothing. He wishes they could shower or bathe, maybe even together, but that’s not an option in the desert so instead, he moves away from Jixi, careful not to wake her, and slips back into his clothing. They have a mission to finish. The night before was beautiful and good and something he definitely wants to revisit, but they do have a mission. He slips from the tent and begins to prepare breakfast. He goes for water, and when he returns, Jixi is awake. He smiles at her, sure he is a blushing. “Good morning, my dear,” He says softly, as he begins to start a fire. It could attract attention but they won’t be there for long. After they eat, it will be time to head to the lost city.
When she woke up that morning, she had forgotten where she was. She forgot the main mission, what she was doing here... even as she looked around the tent. Her brows narrowed, finding her clothes, andit settled in. She remembered. She remembered and she smiled. Her heart skipped a beat as she clenched her clothes to her chest. The heat of the planet helped her cheeks blossom in a darker shade of green. They had shared something, and honestly, she didn’t regret any of it.
Jixi let herself have a moment before starting to change into her clothes. Hands went to tie up her hair, and then reached for her lightsaber. She clipped it on her belt, and one hand hovered near the tent’s entrance. Jixi could smell the fire, she could sense him, but it was in such a different light. As if their Forces combined into one just for a moment. Or maybe it was something else. No one really understood the Force, not even her who had such a bond with it. In fact, she was worried about fully understanding it.
She sighed, pushing open the tent to be greeted by the sunlight. Eyes closed, feeling herself wince away from the brightness. Once a second or two passed, she let her eyes flutter open to meet their surroundings. They were alone like last night besides the Bantha, but who knows who would cross this path. It was best to be going as soon as they can. Which made her start to pack a few things, hesitating around the Bantha somewhat. Obi-Wan’s voice reached her ears, and she turned around to face him. Jixi’s lips curled upwards in a warm smile.
“ Good morning, ” chin lifted upwards just a bit, “ How’d you sleep? ” she spoke as she slowly made her way towards him, taking a seat across from him.
