Oops! All hyperfixations

Much of the reason why yuuji's really become one of my favourite characters is because of the hope he represents. The memories he holds, the love he felt, the intrinsic human spirit and will he has - everything he is is despite the conditions of his conception and experiences as a boy.

He was an experiment meant to hold the king of curses, nothing more than a vessel conceived through questionable means. He didn't have close friends growing up, and didn't understand the plight of the weak being strong himself (he admitted it himself when he talked about his grandfather's sickness). Yet the love he felt for life itself outweighed everything.

A deliberate choice to choose the path of mercy and understanding, even when the world would be cruel. Even if there isn't necessarily a reward at the end. Deliberately delaying one's nirvana in order to help others. It's incredibly self sacrificial, in fact one can even say it's a s*icidal mindset, but I choose to believe, with all the things he's gone through, it's his unwavering love for people. For life.
