Belost heard the voice and glanced to one side. Then the other. Then quirked an eyebrow and glanced up, finding the blue guy up on the ceiling above him.

Maybe that would give others pause, but Belost had met plenty of interesting species in his time and hanging from the ceiling wasn't exactly the wildest thing he'd seen.

"Huh... Eating, sleeping, and fighting." He glanced between the new arrival and then to the ball and a cup. "Fuck it. You know of any snack machines around here?"

Hydra jumped down from the ceiling.

He looked at Belost, smiled and gently took him by the elbow.

"Oh yeah, buddy! I've probably tried everything I could find around here! Hurry, let's go! I have so many ideas!"

"Pfffft....." Belost sighed and tossed a ball on a string towards a cup in his hand. Missed. He'd kill for a good boxing match right about now. Or... just about anything really.

It had been a slow week. And it wasn't going to pick up any time soon.

"Purple Galra" Belost heard Hydra's voice. "Hi big friend! I can keep you company if you want! I'm good at eating, sleeping, and fighting! If you like any of that, we can do it together!" The chimera hung upside down, clinging to the ceiling with his claws.

He grumbled and scratched his head. "Mmmm... Because four times two equals eight. And ate sounds like... You know the word for when something is eaten? Eight the number? Ate the word?"

"Oh! Now I get it! Thank you! It's easier than the chicken joke." He smiled; he liked it. "I'll remember this to tell others and improve my jokes~!"

"I mean... math is okay... but it can be a bit dangerous. I knew a guy once who liked math. He multiplied four and two together."

He chuckled.

"...then he got ate."

"On my shoulders? Wulkir's. I have the feeling he doesn't bottom often enough. On the grill? Wulkir's got a little more meat but Belost's are a little more lean. I suppose even I need to watch my figure. So Belost legs there."
