Nice Little Lift Tip:)
So like thereâs tons of yt clips of CCTV catching people.. All of them show people lifting and looking VERY OBVIOUS.
They show body language of exactly what NOT to do like:
- TOUCHING YOUR FACE
- Rapid movements
- Noticeably bobbing your head up, looking around for SA/LP
- Immediately going to a specific item
- Looking at the item while concealing it
- Speedwalking out immediately after concealing the item
- Eyecontact with the cameras
Thatâs all Iâve gathered from binge watching haha Iâm very new but I hope these help at least some other people new to liftblr?? Bless
YAS
What to do instead: browse! Look at ingredients/price tags
Donât touch face or fidget, act like youâre super rich and comfy in your own skin, take deep breaths if anxious
Like itâs all about deep acting - visualise a mental state (ie âIâm just a normal rich shopper!â) and tune your actions accordingly
Oh also, if you are in a changing room make sure you take off your shoes and pants off so you look like everyone else if a sales associate is walking by.
REPOST: Original had thousands of notes and you guys need to stop reblogging it đ¤Ş
"quick post to spread some info! i havenât seen any posts on here with a complete breakdown of all types of security cameras you may encounter⌠well, this isnât it either, but there are a couple that you should be able to recognize if you dont want to get caught. many stores use these covert cameras- i frequently see the speaker and motion sensor cams. please be careful everyone!!!"
this is scary but so important
Fun thing I discovered for my crafty babes: if youâre buying yarn, especially chunky yarn, you can shove smaller items in the yarn and if youâre using self check out, the weight usually isnât enough to trip the scale. I didnât grab a basket or anything and got several skeins of yarn and was able to shove a couple nail polishes in them while I walked around and no one ever looked my way â¨
Holy fuck this is genius
YES!!! AND 7 CAN ALWAYS RETURN THE YARN AS WELL
COMMON BLINDSPOTS/ NO GO ZONES
this is a map of a target, however it was mostly used just so show the titles as a visual.
Red dots - No-Go zones, commonly heavily supervised, almost always cameras and is usually being watched. Green dots - Common blind spots, I think we all know what a blind spot is
No go zones - BEAUTY!!!! - jewelry - womenâs - electronics - registers, please never conceal here it so stupid! Not only are there tons of cashiers watching, but they are heavily monitored with cams. - grocery (cropped oops) - pharmacy (also cropped oops)
Common blind spots - bedding/bath/kids rooms - pet care - cards & party - luggage - toys and games - baby - Windows/rugs (basically all home decor) - didnât put a dot but cleaning supplies, especially like tissue, toilet paper, & paper towel sections
While this is a good guide, always double check for cams. This is just kinda to guide you to common blind spots to CHECK before you conceal. As all tips, take it with a grain of salt.
the guide i needed
Holy shit. I just saw a girl on here that lifted from a mom-n-pop bc âthereâs no cameras đ¤Şđâď¸âď¸â holy shit fuck off!!! Donât steal from small businesses fuckwads.

How to Master the Walk Out Method
⢠I have two big reusable bags from Babies R Us that I got from people at my baby shower. Later when I went to their store, I saw that they run from around 1-3 $ depending on what size you want. (not that you canât just fold it up and put it in your purse)
Other stores that sell reusable eco-friendly bags: Toys R Us, Tj Maxx, Kohls, Jc Penney, Gordmans, Old Navy, Hyvee, Whole Foods, Kroeger, Target, Wal-Mart, Walgreens, CVS.
1. Why is it different to use eco bags? I find it a lot more unsettling concealing items into my purse than my ebags. When you are putting items into an ebag Iâve noticed that other shoppers around you donât even look at you twice. Shoppers just think youâre being economically friendly. You wonât have to be nervous or have shaky sweaty palms as you desperately look for an empty isle with a handful of nail polish and foundation. Without having to find a new spot to conceal every time you just fill up your bags calmly and collectively while others still shop around paying little to no attention to you at all. This is especially good to do when you need groceries, or need a huge haul youâve been planning. If you still feel a little unsettled, then wait until you get to your blind spot to start bagging your groceries into ebags.
2. Donât forget: ⢠You still need to check for tags! Unless you 100 % know your store of choices policies and have scoped out the store prior to your lifting day, then only sometimes it may be okay to beep. ⢠Regarding the possibility of beeping, you should always try to walk out of the store next to another family/grocery shopper. ⢠Always pay special attention to suspicious footsteps, voices, beeps over the intercom, announcements over the intercom, and walkie talkie calls. Youâre still shoplifting! ⢠A new method is no excuse for becoming sloppy, lazy or greedy. Take only what youâre sure you need! ⢠Do your research on source tags if you know for sure something expensive youâre planning on getting away with. A friend of mine didnât know that the $ 60 crest white strips were source tagged. ⢠Always assume youâre being watched. Be calm, cool and collective and if you canât fill your bags without being super nervous and distraught, you probably shouldnât do it. The key is to be nonchalant and calm. Think about when you go grocery shopping with your parents. Do you pay attention to other grocery shoppers? Probably not. They arenât paying attention to you. They are making sure they get their spring rolls and potstickers. ⢠If you need too, look for cameras, people, SAs, and LP with your eyes only . ⢠Always be considerate, friendly, polite and courteous. Employees, security, SAs and will always remember a bitchy customer over a polite customer. This comes with your next topic:
3. Dressing for the Job: Notice what the average shopper is wearing and dress like them. Being professional, well dress, groomed, speaking clear understandable English, with a friendly outgoing attitude is the best illusion you could give. The object here is not to draw any attention to yourself. You want Loss Prevention to be watching the other guy. Every store and every area will be different. A âhigh endâ department store will have better dressed shoppers then a discount or home improvement store. No matter what, always wear clean cloths, bath, comb your hair, and have a clean respectable look. (Copied from an older thread)
4 a. Stores that have worked easiest for me: Hyvee, Target, Wal-mart, Kroeger. 4 b. Why they work easiest for me: This is just my personal opinion, it depends on how comfortable you are. At hyvee they do their lunch buffet and have hot food and a seating area available to eat. Kroegers has a Starbucks inside. At Target and Wal-Mart there are fast food joints in the stores, garden exits and wedding/baby registries. When Iâm getting ready to leave I will always stop and do something as a distraction ⌠Get a snack, drink, ice cream, or print off a registry or even walk around the garden area⌠Basically do whatever i want as an âexit distractionâ⌠eat/drink/ print before getting ready to walk out of the store and then looking over an old receipt. I like this the best. On days were I have more time to spare and donât have any frozen groceries or milk, sometimes I sit down in the seating areas of these snack places and check fb/tumblr on my phone and eat. Then I leave. 4 c. If you donât want to buy a snack, donât have any food shops inside, or simply want to get in and get out: pick an empty check out isle and just walk down that isle and leave.
5. Beeping: Walking out of the store you should always try to have a receipt on hand. This will make it easier to get out quicker if you flash a receipt at an SA since a lot of stores technically the SAs arenât supposed to stop you, more of a manager or LP will need too. This goes back to dressing for the job. If you have a receipt, look clean and well dressed, SAs will more than likely wave you out. You donât want to look like a shoplifter! Your last tip will be to always walk out close to a family or another shopper with many bags.
Always stay safe you little liftkittens! I hope this helps some of you. This is my favorite method to use!
so helpful
liftin-n-thriftin this is how I got my blow dryer, straightener and curling iron. Just donât do it at Ulta or Sephora because I heard they were source tagged there. I didnât beep taking mine but you always want to double check. I know my Sallyâs has tags but they donât have towers!!
reblogging even though I know I could never use bc Iâm 14 lmao
I had a walmart lp tell me that they watch people who come in the door with their reusable bags visible. If you throw the bags in a purse or fold them up in a pocket, then take them out in the store itâs less likely theyâll have noticed you. They know that people conceal in eco-bags so theyâll watch you from the get if they see you walk in with a bag full of them.
THIS!!!!! Intent to lift is a blurred line with this technique; reusable bags play a big part in my lifting!

HEY! NEW LIFTERS
remove ur fuckin exif data
hereâs an app! use it
antis can use ur exif data from photos to find ur EXACT latitude and longitude! not good!! protect urself!! itâs like a condom or dental dam for lifters!
be safe and steal!!
canât believe yâall are letting this flop
Okay but some of you are really sleeping on body concealing
I WILL NOT walk out of a store with something in my bag if I can help it! SAs and LPs can check your bag and WILL check your bag if they think youâre sus.
You can fit so much on your person; more than you think. Get yourself a waist trainer. I always wear a waist trainer and leggings under a pair of jeans and a sports bra under my top. I always have a jacket on me just in case Iâm a bit lumpy, and the jacket ALWAYS has inside pockets.
Bonus if your top is a turtle neck, bc then you can wear other tops/ dresses underneath and they wonât peak from over the top.
I also try to avoid concealing on floor, but obvs thatâs not always possible. Thatâs what the jacket is for!
My inside pockets are LARGE! I sewed them in myself so I know exactly how much they fit. AND YOU SHOULD TOO!
Almost all caught stories Iâve read have been through people checking bags. Donât make the same mistake!
