Hello and welcome to @emojisofdespair we are an antiendo custom emojis blog that specialises in making emojis for alter roles.
This post is our official introduction and will include our boundaries , credits and other useful information.

Who is Despair?
Despair is the collective name we have chosen for this blog , if you’ve been directed here from our main blog please only call us despair.
We are a 19 year old ecDID system from the United Kingdom , we are disabled and hemiverbal MSN autistic.
We are bodily intersex , use he/it pronouns and will NOT answer to the use of they/them unless you are literally referring to multiple alters within the system.
What do we do?
We create emotes specifically for systems , mainly we make alter role emotes but we also just make general emotes for systems too.
Our alter role emotes are made using the A10/B10 , I6 , M7 and W5 psd files by takiimikiku and all other emotes are created using other psd files you can find for free on their Ko-Fi.
We take requests happily and will do:
- unique alter roles
- specific emotions
- CDD specific symptoms
- alter types (fictive , factive, brainmade etc etc)
- system boundaries
Unfortunately though we cannot do everything , some specific things we won’t ever be open to doing are:
- pro or neutral endogenic content
- nsfw , gore or abuse
- content relating to bigotry (our only exception is for requests that are for emotes that are anti-bigotry , for example “fuck ableism”)
- drawings of fictional characters (we aren’t confident enough in our art style to do more than carefully edit a set of f2u psd files)
The font we use for our emojis with words in them is Heyam on IbisPaint X downloadable from dafont.com
Boundaries boxes & dividers are created by us on IbisPaint X using the adelia font
How do you request?
Simply submit an ask! Let us know what you want out of the emote and we will handle the rest , at a later date we may include colour palettes too if we end up developing specific styles.
Unfortunately due to the nature of some of our boundaries we have anon completely turned off because it is very affective at deterring assholes from trying to harass us.
If you want to request but don’t wish for your ask to be posted publicly please ask to remain anonymous OR provide us with another account to @ mention when we post your request
Who do we prefer use our emotes?
Generally we’d prefer that only the traumagenic community use our emotes but we understand that (pro/neu)endogenics simply do not care about people’s boundaries so there’s nothing we can do. All we ask is that if you are (pro/neu)endo you don’t use these emotes in PUBLIC servers because that is directly going against us not wanting to be interacted with.
We also ask that radqueers and transIDs do not use our emotes , these emotes are not for you.
How do we want to be credited?
We have two main types of crediting , if you are using these in a discord it is MANDATORY and NON-NEGOTIABLE that you use EOD_ or DES_ before the emote as credit and please also try to keep a link to our tumblr on hand so that you can direct people to us when asked (again preferably not (pro/neu)endogenics but I understand y’all simply don’t care for boundaries)
If you are using our emotes on things like Simply Plual (rip) , Octocon or Ampersand (+ any other alternatives that arise) then you MUST directly link to our tumblr somewhere on that page so that people can find us. Things like PK and Tupper follow the discord rule as they are discord based services.
AAC users do NOT have to credit us when using our icons for their AAC but you are free to include credit if you wish , I’ve had other AAC user friends tell me that they’ve created credit buttons but this is up to you to decide.
+whilst it is on my mind , if you upload our emotes to a resource page please make sure to properly credit us with “made by emojisofdespair on tumblr”
