hi !! i am finally getting around to making a gif tutorial so here we are, the most i have done is answer an ask about high quality gifs so i’ll just put that link here - x. 

i’m gonna try and go over the whole process but i might end up forgetting something so if you need clarification or a further explanation on something feel free to ask i’m happy to help !! also i’m gonna stick this under a read more bcs this is probably gonna end up being quite long. 

Camera Raw filter for gifmaking - a Camera Raw tutorial

Camera Raw is one of the many filters available on Photoshop that can enhance how your gifs looks. If you’ve seen gifs on Tumblr that look hyper realistic and you can see the pores and nonexistent imperfections on the subjects face, it is probably because of the Camera Raw filter. Follow the steps below to use the filter if you’d like for your gifs to look like the one above:

↳  TRIGGER WARNINGS  .  .  .  alcohol, kissing, hospitals, mental distress, nausea, pregnancy, sexual content (non-explicit).

↳  OTHER  .  .  .  re-did some of the hospital gifs so coloring might be slightly inconsistent.

+ as requested, here are a couple templates for 15 100x100 icons.

+ I made 22 doodles (stars, lines, etc.) you can use for decoration, a title section, and more, but if you don’t want any, you can remove them.

+ to put an image inside one of them, place your image layer right above one of the icons, right-click on your image layer, and select “create clipping mask.”

+ feel free to use my doodles for other things outside of the template if you want, I don’t mind.
