He would just stare at you, his eyes instantly softening as a serene, incredibly proud smile spreads across his face. He would wrap his arms around you, pulling you flush against his chest and burying his face in your hair, taking a deep breath to process the moment. He’s someone who values family above everything, so this would deeply move him. Within minutes, his mind would switch to creating the healtiest, most peaceful enviroment for you - he’d be researching organic prenatal diets, arranging the softest nursery, and making sure Roscoe (because i miss this lil guy so much) is already being gentle around your belly.
"Mon amour...tell me you’re not joking. Please, tell me this is real"
His breath would catch completely, his hands trembling slightly as he takes the test from you. When he sees your teary nod, his own eyes would immediately well up with emotional, happy tears. He would drop to his knees, wrapping his arms securely around your waist and pressing his forehead against your stomach, whispering soft promises in french to the baby. He would treat you like absolute royalty from that second on. He’d become fiercely protective, constantly kissing your forehead, and probably writing a beautiful, soft piano dedicated entirely to his future child.
"Wait, really? Let me see...wow. We’re actually doing this, aren’t we?"
He’d look at the test with an initial blunt, wide-eyed stare as his brain tries to switch from racing mode to dad mode. But then, this massive, genuine, boyish grin would break across his face - the kind he only shows when he’s truly, deeply happy. He would pull you into a firm, tight hug, chuckling softly in disbelief. He’d try to act casual about it, but the competitive, perfectionist side of him would instantly kick in. Later that night, you’d find him sitting on the bed, intensely researching the safest baby car seats and plotting out how soon he can get a kart for the little one.
"Oh my god, wait, what?! Put that down, don’t move - are you serious right now?!"
An absolute explosion of young, chaotic energy. His jaw would hit the floor, and he’d start pacing around the living room, hands on his head, a mix of pure shock and wild excitement on his face. He’d look at you, laugh nervously, and then rush over to wrap you in a massive hug, lifting you slightly before remembering to be careful and putting you right back down with a panicked expression. "Am I going to be a dad? Bro, I’m going to be a dad!" He’d be so incredibly proud, immediately texting his closest friends (and probably his enginners) to brag about it.
"Shut up, no way...you’re messing with me, right? Where’s the camera?"
He would literally giggle nervously, looking around the room ’cause he genuinely thinks you’re pulling a massive prank on him for a stream or a video. He would squint at the positive test, his ears turning bright pink as the truth finally sinks in. Once he realizes you’re dead serious, his laugh would turn into a soft, breathless gasp. He’d shyly pull you into his lap, hiding his blushing face in your neck while wrapping his arms tightly around you. He’d be a bit worried about whether he’s mature enough, but he’d constantly kiss your cheek and promise to be the funniest dad ever.
"Well...that’s definitely a positive line. I suppose my simulator time is about to decrease"
Classic, deadpan Osc on the outside, but his eyes would be incredibly wide and bright with sudden emotion. He’d take the test, blink at it a few times, and then look at you with the softest, most tender smile you’ve ever seen on him. He wouldn’t make a dramatic scene, but he’d pull you into a very steady, comforting embrace, kissing your temple and holding you close for a long time. By the next morning, he’d have a fully organized spreadsheet on his iPad (or notebook, doesn’t matter) detailing the best pediatricians, prenatal vitamins, and budget plans for the next 9 months (not that you’d need it but he wants to be sure).
"Right, okay. This is absolutely wonderful news. Let me just...grab a pen"
He’d try to maintain his perfectly composed, gentlemanly demeanor, but his voice would crack slightly with pure excitement. He would give you a massive, theatrical hug, lifting you up and spinning you around before immediately apologizing for being too rough. He’d look at you with utter adoration, his eyes crinkling at the corners. Within an hour, he’d have a PowerPoint presentation (love this powerpoint king) mentally prepared for how you two are going to tackle the trimesters, and he’d be lecturing everyone in the paddock about the importance of paternity leave and nursery ergonomics.
"Wait...for real? I’m going to be a father? Wow"
His usual calm, quiet demeanor would completely vanish, replaced by total, wide-eyed awe. He’d stare at the test, then look at you, his chest rising and falling as he tries to process that he’s taking on the biggest role of his life. A soft, incredibly proud smile would slowly take over his face. He would shyly take your hand, intertwining his fingers with yours, and pull you into a gentle hug. He’d be a little quiet at first, just absorbing the happiness, but he’d spend the rest of the day following you around the house, making sure you don’t lift a single finger.
"¡No me jodas! ¿De verdad? ¡Voy a ser papá, no lo puedo creer!"
He would completely lose his mind in the absolute best way possible. He would let out a loud, ecstatic shout, throwing his hands in the air and laughing with pure, unfiltered joy. He’d grab you by the waist, spinning you around the room while showering your face with a million fast kisses. He wouldn’t be able to stay still for a single second, talking a mile a minute in a mix of spanish and english about how cute the baby is going to be. He’d immediately call his family to scream the news, and he’d already be rubbing your belly and talking to it with the biggest grin.
"Are you serious? Oh, thank god...this is everything I’ve ever wanted"
He would let out a long, shaky breath, as if a wave of pure relief and happiness just washed over him. His eyes would instantly mist over, and he’d step forward to pull you into a deeply emotional, protective embrace, burying his face in your shoulder. He’d hold you so close, just rocking you gently in the middle of the room. He knows what it’s like to work hard for family, so the idea of building his own would make him incredibly emotional. He’d become your personal bodyguard, ensuring you're comfortable, warm, and well-fed at every single race weekend.
"Wait, hold on...me? A dad? Oh my god, my mum is going to freak out!"
He’d turn completely red from his neck up to his ears, giggling with a mix of pure shock and youthful disbelief. He would look at the test, look at you, and rub the back of his neck, a massive, slightly panicked but incredibly sweet smile on his face. He’d stumble over his words trying to express how happy he is, eventually just giving up and wrapping his arms around you tightly. "I’m going to be so good at this, I promise. I’ll learn everything." He’d be so eager to please, constantly checking on you and asking if the baby needs anything every five minutes.
"No way...you’re serious? Oh my god, that’s...that’s insane. In the best way!"
His jaw would drop, and he’d give you this huge, disbelief-filled grin, his New Zealand accent getting a bit more pronounced as he processes the news. He would shake his head, chuckling softly before stepping in to wrap his arms around your waist, pulling you close. He’d look down at you with so much warmth and pride in his eyes. He’d immediately want to celebrate, but then he’d get super attentive, asking you how you’re feeling, if you’re tired, and making sure you have your favorite snacks stockpiled in the kitchen.
"Caramba...are you telling me the truth? We’re having a little smooth operator?"
He’d give you that gorgeous, charming smirk at first, thinking you’re teasing him, but the moment he sees your expression, his eyes would soften completely. He would let out a warm, hearty laugh, his chest swelling with immense pride. He’d lift you up in a big, warm hug, kissing you passionately before resting his large hands gently on your hips. He’s very family-oriented, so he’d immediately start talking about telling his dad and planning summer holidays with the baby in Spain. He would make sure you feel like the most cherished person in the world.
"Oh wow! Wait, really?! Oh my god, that’s amazing!"
The absolute sweetest, most wholesome reaction. His face would completely light up with that signature, bright Albon smile, and he’d let out a soft gasp of pure joy. He would immediately wrap you in a massive, cozy hug, squeezing you just tight enough to let you know how thrilled he is, before pulling back to look at you with shiny eyes. He’d be incredibly giddy, laughing and kissing your forehead. Within minutes, he’d be joking about how the cats are going to react to a new sibling, and he'd immediately order a tiny, custom baby-sized racing helmet to match his.
