"That is old!" Emma put her hands on Anna’s cheeks and looked into her eyes. "Not as old as Daddy, though, he’s oooooooold, he’s thirby-seven!"

It took every ounce of self-control Anna had not to break down laughing.  She gave Emma a serious little nod.  ”Oh goodness,” her eyes widened, “That’s not just old.  That is ancient.”

Emma giggled and put her hands to her mouth. "And Uncle Mikeyroft is OLDER! I know lots of old people!"

What happened, Emma?

Dadi made me and Mis Mary and Grandy and Grampsy and Uncle Myky all sleepy and he and John found the firplays toylet man and made him leev peepl alon.

Emma grinned and nodded exaggeratedly. “And my BIRFDAY! I’m gonna be FOUR,” she said, holding out four fingers. “How old are you?”

"Four?!  Oh my goodness.  Such a big girl, now,” Anna stayed down on Emma’s level, a small grin on her face, “I’m so old.  I’m 27.”

"That is old!" Emma put her hands on Anna's cheeks and looked into her eyes. "Not as old as Daddy, though, he's oooooooold, he's thirby-seven!"

Emma grinned and nodded exaggeratedly. "And my BIRFDAY! I'm gonna be FOUR," she said, holding out four fingers. "How old are you?"

Emma smiled, glad to see the smile on the stranger’s face. “Flowers and smiles and apples,” she grinned. “With cinny-men.” Without warning, she reached up and hugged the Doctor, tiny hands and arms wrapping around him. “Hugs, too,” she said more quietly.

"Daddy says it's 'cause I've got an M-pathy," she said, smelling the Time Lord and realizing that she felt even safer with him than she did with most people (which, admittedly, wasn't saying a whole lot, since she tended to trust almost to a fault).  "You smell good."

*waggles her head, hair fling around*

Vivianne laughed and danced around a bit with her, letting her hair down as well. “Oh goodness Emma love! Come on, we need a snack to keep going.”

"Apples!"  Emma grinned excitedly, thinking chiefly of galas with a Sherlock-invented cinnamon-sugar sauce.  "Yummy daddy apples!"
