Just a few pictures of me on the emotional roller coaster that is reputation.

So I searched my handle with Taylor’s to see the first time I tweeted her and OMG excuse me while I cry 😭 I felt the same about her in 2011 and had no idea how much of an impact she would have on my life by now. Can we also talk about how I used the phrase “soundtrack to my life” in a post today before seeing this, and these tweets were almost exactly six years ago to the day?…

In 2011 I was a junior in high school going through some of the hardest times of my life and trying to figure out who I wanted to be. These tweets are from the night I went to the Speak Now tour and I can still vividly remember how that era played out in my life. It was full of hope and anticipation, but also marred by a lot of rejection and doubt. I remember singing Dear John in the shower while I cried over boys who were no good for me. I remember having Enchanted stuck in my head on a loop every time I locked eyes with a cute boy in the hallways. And I remember sitting in my room at night listening to Never Grow Up and being absolutely terrified to choose a college and dive headfirst into life on my own. Fast forward to 2017 and I’ve graduated college, moved to a brand new city for my first job, and found a boy who absolutely adores me and makes me forget how little I used to value myself. Taylor has been with me through every move, every change, every heartbreak and loss and struggle. My heart will always be filled with such gratitude that she chose to share her life with me all this time.

But we were dancing, dancing with our hands tied.

@taylorswift I don’t often realise that i’ve actually been listening to your music since I was 8 years old. Next year when I turn 18 - your music will have inpacted and changed my life for a decade, and for more than half of my life, which is quite insane when you think about it.

Your music have helped me through bullying, abuse, days when my home life was more than I could bare, unrequited love, friends that have left me and heartbreak - but your music have also of course been a part of the absolute happiest moments of my life. Though friendships, joy, love and everything inbetween.

Someday I aspire to be like you Taylor. Your the one person thay made me pick up a guitar when I was 11 years old, and you are the one person that have kept me going ever since. Today I study at a musicschool, and I play both guitar, piano and I sing. The first song I ever learnt on the guitar when I was 11 was your song I’d Lie, and when I reasontly started playing the piano at 16, the first song I learnt was also a song of yours - All Too Well.

I love you more than I could ever describe Taylor, and i hope with all of my heart that we can meet someday. To meet your is my biggest dream. Your my guardian angel and the king of my heart.
