A theory about season 5 related to Henry/Vecna/001.

Tbh, I don’t know where the show is going right now, as it seemed like Vecna is the big boss and it is all his doing. I didn’t find it convincing tho. From D&D anology and Dustin’s logic, I still feel like Mind Flayer is the big boss. here is the theory comes around.

Firstly, I think that Henry is not only the first lab rat but also the first victim of upside down. His ideas, predatory thinking, obsession with creatures out of nothing sounds like mediocre cartoon villain motives. I think that in season 5 we will learn more about how Henry got his powers. We don’t know much about Creel family ‘s back story before Hawkins. I think that Henry got in contact with mind flayer/upside down like Will someway somehow and got possessed which later gave him the telekinetic power.

No doctor understood what was going on since it was the 50s, didn’t get what was wrong with Henry. He was probably sensitive kid like Will, MF manipulated his feelings.

This theory becomes stronger when we pay attention to one detail. The gates. As we can see the gates to upside down opened when upside down creatures attacked to civilians in Hawkins or when El had attacked to them. We can see gate opening to upside down when El killed Demogorgon in season 1 or when Vecna attacked kids in season 4. The same gate opened when El attacked to One in lab for defending herself. If Henry was free of Mind flayer and upside down, why the gate has opened then?

I feel like there is more sad/tragic revelation for Peter/Henry in season 5. And this can be unveiled with the help of Will’s story. I feel like Will will have significant part in this story. maybe upside down/Vecna Will use his affection for Mike and jealousy for El for his benefit. Will might gain powers and possessed like Henry.
