Caring. You seem to want to know and understand the feelings or fears of the one you would flirt with. (If you are male, you come across as “a sensitive guy”.) You offer emotional support or a shoulder to cry on, and might become the confidante or confessor for the one you desire. The Cancer style is subtle, and to flirt does not mean overt.

Nurturing. You care for one’s comfort and cater to one’s emotional needs. Call it the “care bear” strategy. Cuddling and coddling is part of the care bear mating ritual. Feeding is a form of nurturing, and offering food is a form of flirtation for Venus in Cancer. An invitation to a home-cooked dinner may set the scene for seduction. Even the suggestion to split a pizza may mean more than a passing interest.

Mothering. Fussing over the object of your affections is an indication of interest. You may act like a mother (or father) to the one you would entice – not necessarily a “romantic” role, but one that can successfully seduce that certain someone. You pamper the one you desire and cater to their comfort (and might unconsciously call them “baby” more often than you or they are noticing).

Protective. You make one feel safe from harm or emotional hurts. The more of your affection they attract, the more protective you will act.

Virgo

Pure. You seem “proper” and polite and conservative and clean, even “virginal”. You may come across as “reserved” – as holding back your emotions, and also as keeping your affections “reserved” for the proper partner.

Attentive to details. You note one’s preferences and cater to their needs and desires. You “notice” little things about the one you desire, and may mention them. You may try to help “organize” or help out the one who attracts you, and this is a way of “flirting” for you. When you give a little gift, you try to make it appropriate to what you think the person needs, or is interested in, or would be “useful” to them.

Attentive. You love to hear the person you are interested in talk of events or feelings or ideas, and you act like you are really “paying attention” to them. Asking questions about what someone said may be a way of flirting with them. You can flirt by just listening to someone with rapt interest.

Sexual. You seem to act more “sexy” when in flirt mode, and may exude an enticing “animal magnetism” that subtly seduces the one you desire.

Mesmerizing. A look in your eyes can mesmerize. The object of your attention is drawn in by the mystery behind the eyes. One could lose oneself in their depths. You might be told you possess “bedroom eyes”.

Probing. You seem to stare into one’s soul, to sense one’s secrets. You tend to make the object of your attentions feel vulnerable somehow. You may ask probing questions about things other people would not venture to inquire about. Being the instigator of a Scorpio inquisition indicates some serious interest in the guy or gal being grilled.

Powerful. You seem strong – a sorceror, a saviour …or a slave master. A subtle sense of hidden power could attract a certain someone like a flame attracts certain flying insects.

Sagittarius

Expansive. You show an appetite for variety, new ideas, and new experiences. “Excessive” might be a better word, for you can over-do things a bit – or a lot. You may find yourself “embellishing” or exaggerating to inspire more interest in you. You may be thinking a little “hype” would help.

Capricorn

Reputable. You try to impress the one you desire with your reputation, position, job title, career, social standing, or wealth. You appear “respectable” yourself, and act “respectful” of the one you desire.

If your basic nature is NOT to be cool and detached, but passionate (Sun in Aries or Sagittarius) or emotional (Sun in Pisces)… you may paradoxically act less warm and more cool when in the presence of a person whose affections you would entice.

Pisces

Mysterious. You seem intriguing, elusive, even enigmatic. Your air of mystery might invite an attractive someone to be seduced into a secret affair.
