it was painfully obvious that mareena was no longer in her home. the first sign was clear, she’s no longer swimming in the waters of atlantis alongside her friends but the water appeared cleaner from the surface world. her eyebrows raised as she gazes the scene around here. even the beach was cleaner than what she’d seen before, which is something she doesn’t exactly mind but it’s still alarming to her. the cool breeze lets her know that it’s the winter months which would explain why the beach was nearly empty. it doesn’t take her long to walk up the white sand and it’s more than obvious she doesn’t belong with the people around her. she’s wearing traditional atlantean clothing as slender fingers tap on the first shoulder they find, offering a warm smile. “sorry..but would you mind informing me of where i am?”
“no.” the archer answered simply, voice steady and instinctively sharp. “i’m still trying to figure that out.” of course she didn’t mean to sound rude or anything, but what else was she going to say? it’s clear neither of them are supposed to be here --- wherever, whenever, here actually is. “i guess i’ll let you know when i do,” emiko began again, more cautiously this time as she sized up her apparent company. although she knew she likely wouldn’t have an issue taking the girl down if need be, she really hoped she didn’t need to. the young queen didn’t want any struggle at this time ( not that she knew it yet, but it was exhausting enough to be transported back in time. ) “or you know, if you wanna stick around to solve a mystery with me or whatever...” what’d she have to lose, right?
