he says that xander wouldnt be someone who would kill without a purpose, which i also agree with him but what was xander to david for him to believe and say that so much? its obviously related to pregame but the trust towards him is beyond me, again this serie seems like a trust vs distrust

It also makes more sense for David to value his life more than people he sees as a bunch of nobodies; none of them are socially distinct as far as he's concerned, from his skewed view of events, despite the fact they're almost all ultimates. Whatever Xander did was probably altruistic from David's pov and his survival means more for the rest of humanity, rather than just the people in the KG like he's making it sound. Compared to xander, all he's ever done is spread inspiration — that's nothing like having genuine political significance.

This status would name Teruko's life ESPECIALLY worthless. It means Xander would not have attempted to kill her without means so important as a political surrender or death that saved many more people. David could not only see her as unimportant compared to the livelihood of many, but also as a threat. Which she undoubtedly is slipping into the role of with her paranoid attitude. It's like a catch-22 of character development.

It's kinda silly idk but all three definitely have distinctions about the kg, and ignorance to xander's actions must be absolutely appalling to david. He must see teruko as worse than a murderer.
