Hello lovely people!!

So, I know it has been a while since I’ve hopped on here to give you an update. I’ve been struggling to get back into writing my Polytrix fics (I promise I’ll come back to them eventually. I’m just kind of stuck right now on what I want to do with them lol.)

Health-wise, I am doing pretty well now. I’m up and walking and back at work again (yay to the walking, not so yay to the work lol). While I was out for the count, I got absolutely SUCKED into the very fun space that is Thai GL shows (seriously staved off my boredom by watching gorgeous women kissing each other lol).

So yes, I have started writing again, it’s just not polytrix right now, but instead a ship from one of the shows I watched (which, admittedly, was not my favorite show, but this ship has a lot of good potential). If you’re willing to stick around, you may enjoy it, otherwise you’ll just have to be patient for whenever the whim of my brain swings back to polytrix lol.

I’m also considering posting some of my fanart here of some of these absolutely stunning actresses (I got back into doing portraits again, which is something I used to do a LOT as a teenager and up until my first year of university, but hadn’t done in like eight years. I forgot how much I loved doing them), so if that’s something you’d like to see, let me know!

I am up to like chapter six or seven (I can't remember which one lol), and since I've got more time on my hands than I know what to do with, I'm going through fairly speedily.

I am going to try to get back on a regular update schedule for both Echoes and WDMTLOTW once I get through with the editing process

So I'm finally delving back into When Darkness Meets the Light of the World! I've started back at the beginning and am editing for grammar mistakes continuity stuff, and clarity, so if you read it after the next few days, just know that you're getting a slightly different fic than the original one lol.

I'm also doing this to remind myself what I have written up to this point so I can hopefully keep going with the story again. I've kinda missed being in this world lol.

Finally, FINALLY have chapter seventeen of Echoes out for y’all! I’m so sorry it took so incredibly long, but, alas, the past few months have been wild lol.

The next chapter shouldn’t take me nearly as long, but I have yet to start actually working on the outline.

So I'd been hoping that I'd be able to get the next chapter out before my surgery was done today, but that didn't happen lol. I promise I am working on it (I've got like 1.5-2k words done already)!

Surgery went well, my pain mostly managed. I fucked up my knee even worse than the ortho had originally thought. They needed to do a meniscus repair on it too. But I am now on the road to recovery!

Hello lovely people!!

Just wanted to update y'all on what's going on. I ROYALLY fucked up my leg, and I have surgery scheduled for Monday. Recovery time is actually going to be a little better than what I expecting, and I won't have to have a knee replacement like the idiot of an ER doctor was saying I might need (was thoroughly unimpressed with him, though the ortho doc was good).

Have not been able to work on writing yet because I couldn't find a comfortable position, but that's going to be fixed tomorrow with a desk I can put over my lap in bed that I ordered. That'll help immensely for my boredom lol.

Also, it's hard to write when you can't really get into a comfortable writing position. I'm hoping that it'll go better once I find out more at the orthopedist on Wednesday. I think there's a good chance that I'll need surgery. I really fucked up my knee rather impressively lol

So the Ao3 author's curse has struck me at last lol. I fell and broke my leg at work today. I wanted a break, but not this way (pun very much intended). I'll probably need to be out of commission from work for at least 3 months, if not longer, depending on if I need to have surgery. At least it should give me some time to write!!

I fucking FINALLY got the outline for the next chapter of Echoes finished!! I feel so accomplished lol. Hard part is over, now I get to start on the fun part!!

Another quick update on the next chapter Echoes, since what I did today absolutely warrants it lol.

So I'd started the outline for the next chapter like a month ago initially, and then when I came back to it two weeks ago I, firstly, couldn't really remember what I'd had planned (though, thanks to my story notes, I do have an inkling at least lol), and secondly, ABSOLUTELY HATED what I'd had down. This is honestly why I ended up writing the smutty Rumira fic, because I was stuck on what I wanted to do next.

Well, today, inspiration struck me for what I wanted to do (partially because I sat down and read through the majority of the fic itself again), and I ended up scrapping about 90% of what I'd had down so far. It's going to be a bit different from what we're used to in this particular story so far, but I do hope you all enjoy what I have cooking up lol. No idea how long it's going to take, since life and work are chaos right now, and I am on call next week, but I'm going to try to chip away at it where I can.

Chapter two of my smutty Rumira no-longer-one-shot is up! I hope you all enjoy! Fair warning, it is more fluffy this chapter. And they’re both rather pathetic lol.

I am still working on my outline for Echoes (very slowly, and I’m so sorry it’s taking me so long!) I have no idea how long it’s going to take me to get the next chapter out. My job is absolute chaos right now, to the point that I’m actually getting ready to start looking for something else. I have a trip in early March, then after that I’ll likely be switching to another job. It’s very possible that I won’t have time to do a whole lot of writing until after that, but I’ll still work on it where I can.

As for WDMTLOTW, I did not get the chance to start going through to start editing earlier chapters again yet. It is coming, but again, I have so little time right now that I don’t know when I’ll be able to get to it.

Please be patient with me as I try to get my life in order again lol. I wish I had more time to write, because I feel like it keeps me (marginally) sane in the insanity that is the current state of affairs.

So, y'all have convinced me to keep going on the little smutty Rumira one shot that I posted a few days ago. Just to be clear, there is like ZERO plot planned for this story (like, literally. I don't even have an outline for it), mainly just smut and fluff. I also thought on it, and I think I'm going to keep it a primarily Rumira fic. Zoey is showing up, but as of right now, I don't have plans for her to join in on the smut lol. I'm ultimately viewing this as practice for writing smut in general, since it is definitely something I tend to struggle a bit more with.

I have also been working on and off on my outline for Echoes. I'd say the outline is probably about 1/3 of the way done for the chapter. I'm notorious about not liking working on my outline, despite knowing that for this, I DEFINITELY need it. I'm shooting to see if I can get the outline done by maybe Wednesday this week and start trying to knock that chapter out so we can get back into the swing of things.

As for When Darkness Meets the Light of the World (seriously, why did I choose such a wordy title??), I promise I haven't forgotten about it. In the next few days, I'm actually planning to go through what's posted and do some editing of what's there, mostly to refresh myself on the plot so I can hopefully continue with it.

The smutty Rumira one shot that I’ve been sitting on for a little is complete and posted!! I hope you all enjoy! There is potential with it for it to continue if there is interest and I have the motivation, so let me know if that’s something you’d like.

If I have the time tomorrow, I’m going to keep drafting the outline for the next chapter of Echoes. It’s proving to be both hefty and also just generally difficult to work with for me lol. I’ve reworked parts twice already, and I’m still not done yet for me to actually get started with writing the chapter, but we’ll get there eventually lol.
