John the Weather Man
There once was a boy named John and he had a fabulous way of knowing when it would be sunny outside or very gloomy. Some would say that this ability of his was useful and in fact, a glorious ability. Others would turn away at the mention of the boy's name. In any case, the boy was renowned. You might say that John's life was filled with glory from this new discovery. He traveled far and wide to predict weather patterns from around the world. From the smallest boy in India, to the Prime Minister of Spain, everyone knew John. But fame and fortune came at a heavy price. Not only did John live a life of solitude, but he also lived a life of dispare. He would lie awake thinking about the weather. It would haunt his deams, and turn into his worst nightmares. John's life was short lived, and on October 15, 1974 - he hung himself. The wold mourned his death for weeks, not knowing what they would do without their precious John: The Weather Man. Soon after the tragic event, there was a memorial in his honor. Years and years passed on by, and if you asked someone today about the miraculous John the Weather Man, they would reply with a simple, "John who?"
