We rolled out a significant change to how notes work on reblogs, and the reaction has been strong. We're not going to pretend otherwise.
First things first: We're reversing the change. Your feedback in comments, emails, and especially reblogs, made clear that the rollout created problems we need to address before moving forward. We also should have communicated this differently from the start, and we didn't.
We still believe there's a better version of how reblogs can work. One that gives every voice in a chain the credit it deserves. But we want to get there with you.
In the coming days we'll share more on how we plan to do that, including ways to work directly with some of you on this and future changes before they ship.
It seems that the new update to reblogs has been rolled back! Thankfully, that means I will continue to post my writing here (and you guys will get some finished suggestions very very soon!) I am a bit weary of the fact that tumblr staff seems to still want to make changes to the reblog system, but for now I will wait and see what exactly it is they wish to change. At least for now, my writing will still receive the recognition it deserves and I will be able to read the notes I get in all my reblogs :D

Hello my dear readers :( I was going to post some more finished suggestions tomorrow, but this update is... Discouraging, to say the least.
I am debating continuing to write on this platform. If I decide to quit, I'll be migrating to AO3. Nothing is set in stone of course, I'm waiting to see what Tumblr staff will do since there is already so much pushback on this update; I will say that I am not very confident in their ability to listen, however. phainon is no stranger to being a gentleman. whenever the two of you are spending time with one another, he would always be the one to treat you whether it was to lunch or even shopping in the local market. you'll always find his hand pressed to the small of your back but while weaving through crowds, he's got his arm wrapped around your shoulder in order not to lose you in the mass of people. this man is willing to give you the royalty treatment simply because you deserve it. when phainon finds himself deep in his thoughts, you will always be lingering at the back of his mind, and he unconsciously smiles at the mere thought of you.
despite her heart that had long been frozen, aglaea does not fail in the romance department. if you find yourself in the heroes' bath, she will tend to whatever needs you may have and even accompany you during your stay. if she happens to find the time, she will use it wisely and sew a brand new garment just for you. she has already wrapped it up and will hold onto it until she sees you again. the warmth you give by simply being by her side is so unfamiliar yet it is enough to begin thawing her frosted heart.
for the crown prince of castrum kremnos, mydei isn't exactly known for having a kind nature. regardless of his intimidating appearance, it's quite obvious that the prince has grown to have a soft spot for you. if there is someone causing you trouble, mydei will appear by your side and he's already scared the person off with merely one sentence. sometimes the two of you would engage in playful banter, countering the other’s teasing remark with another. mydei will never succumb to fatigue in the midst of battle for he always reminds himself that you are waiting for him on the other side.
being the first chrysos heir to obtain a titan's coreflame and ascend to that of a demi-god, tribbie finds themselves to be somewhat of a mentor figure towards the others. if they ever find out that you're not feeling well, they will make sure to remind you to always take care of yourself. they are always happy to educate you about various topics as they take joy in being able to talk for hours and having someone listening to them intently. it is only natural for the teacher to worry about their student’s well being, how else will they be able to continue guiding you if you’re not in a stable condition to be guided?
she may have no experience whatsoever about romance but that doesn't mean castorice refuses to try and learn. she takes interest in the things that bring you joy and will remember the smallest and most random things about yourself. although her power restricts herself from making any physical contact with you, castorice makes sure to keep you safe and free from harm's way. each passing moment that she spends with you, castorice cherishes each and every one all the same. the servant of death is no stranger to the inevitable fate that awaits you but she cannot even bring herself to think about that when you were so intertwined in the present.
a genius and a charmer basically sums up the kind of person that anaxa is. he is always amused to see you fascinated whenever he displays the unique magic that he holds. similar to tribbie, he is fond of teaching you things without making you feel dumb. he dislikes whenever you downplay your intelligence and assures you that you're talented and intellectually capable in your own way. anaxa is a firm believer that every little part of your being is fascinating, it makes him inclined to continue finding out more about who you are.
hyacine always finds herself pleased to see how well you respond to her affection. although a little shy at first, she is willing to try different things with you. after a tiring day, hyacine simply wants to lay down on a sturdy branch of a big tree with you beside her, watching the birds soar through the sky while the suns fall and stars rise. the priest does not know what future lies in store but what she does know is that one day, when you two have passed on, you will take to the skies beside one another and soar to the stars.. just like the birds the two of you have watched do all the time.
just like how she has a talent for swiping people's valuables, cipher sure has a talent for stealing your heart. seeing as you're already aware of her skill of sleight, you find yourself wondering which poor citizen she swiped whenever you receive a gift from her. although a thief should never linger too long around their target, cipher cannot refuse any request of physical touch from you. you don’t expect much out of the aftermath of a bad day, at least not until a certain thief shows up at your doorstep and greets you with a flower or two that had been swiped from one of the largest flower fields that amphoreus has to offer.
note: written before version 3.1 therefore some if not most characters are ooc. tribbie’s scenario is purely platonic, otherwise the rest of them can be intepreted as romantic or platonic.

#tbh i do judge people who dont put yukong in the top 10 most well-written hsr character lists. complex stories like phainon, acheron, etc., are well deserving of praise when they're done right, however i feel like most people focus on themeing rather than quality in ranking.
yukong is a fantastic depiction of ptsd, and it manifests into the story's lore seamlessly. she is a mirror of the other loufu characters; her long lifespan is judged not by its cursed nature but by how her trauma makes it useless. less like a wound and more like a weight. when she lost caiyi, she lost her youth's meaning, and now she has to live for hundreds of years hoping that their baby doesn't have the same fate. caiyi's death made her lose her right to be selfish, when she saw 'fugue,' you can see just how badly she wants it back. its gut-wrenching, in a way you just dont get often.
i wish the mundane stories, like a long-life office worker who has aged beyond her years, had a place in the convo as well🥲

Ok sooo Anaxa... Anaxa has loottsss of feelings about an s/o on the thicker side. If you're plus sized or chubbier, then he'd have trouble keeping his hands to himself after you two get together. Constantly cupping your face in his hands and squishing your cheeks, giving you kisses, and gently biting every softer part of you (face, stomach, all over your legs. He WILL leave teeth marks all over you if you give him permission.)
He'll also be fond of kneading at your hips/stomach/thighs etc when he's lost in thought. It's not even intentional, but he finds out really fast that he focuses wayyy better when his hands are on you.
Also he was 100% captivated by your body the first time you two met... Most people on Amphoreus who look like they're in his age range are quite skinny or have warrior type builds, so this is a welcome change. Very welcome. For no reason in particular. What do you mean he's been staring at your hips for 10 minutes??? Preposterous!!!
Anaxa falling asleep on your tummy/thighs btw. It happens a lot. He doesn't even need a Dromas plushie anymore. He's got you, and you are significantly better because he can just lean up and kiss you whenever he wants!!! This is heaven!!!
I have other thoughts, but I might as well save those for the actual one shot that I am going to write lmao. All I will say is that he may be a "frail scholar," but he can 100% handle you in every single way. ;) ;)
On the opposite end, if you are like super buff/beefy then omg. Anaxa feels like a Victorian man anytime he looks at your arms because What the fuck™️. He's never thought about being tossed around like a rag doll before, but now he is. Oh god. Bonus points if you're taller than him, he won't be able to look you in the eyes because he feels threatened but also strangely attracted to you.
He is a freak of a man in no uncertain terms. Beefy s/o will absolutely take him out. He can't even handle TALKING about you to anyone else bc then he'll start thinking about you and your stomach and arms, and it's like ?? Oh fuck oh god Ok calm down. If any of his students catch wind of this and tease him about you in class, he will not be able to remain composed. I'm talking dropping a glass beaker on the floor, blushing to his ears, the whole thing. He is normally so composed but he can't !! Focus!!! When it comes to you!!!!
Pick him up and squeeze him in a hug. Do it. His soul may actually leave his body, but it'll be worth it to watch how flustered he gets.
He would also kiss a beefy s/o a lot but it would be a little different. He'd grab onto your arm or put his hand on your stomach to get your attention and then just peck you on the lips and go back to whatever it is he was doing before then.
He also likes to nap on a buff s/o's tummy!!! You can't refuse. He will get moody about it if you don't let him sleep on you. It's non-negotiable!!!
He likes cooking for his s/o as well because like. Omg. He is the one feeding you, and you love his food, and you're eating well AAA!!! This is proof that 1. He is a good future husband and 2. That you have a healthy appetite which he thinks is very, very important (and hot)

Mydeimos
Oddly enough, I think he's the only one who would actively try to curb his desires the moment he realizes that they're becoming dangerous. Mydei is truly a protector at heart, and if he notices that his affection for you is starting to toe the line of something darker, he'll take a step back and look inwards to try and understand what is happening and how to stop it. Does it work..? Not in the slightest. You're just… So bright. So loving, so good. You treat him normally, you care about his well-being, you care about his people– Eventually, he'll start to blame you for his emotions when he fails to distract himself from them. How can it be his fault when you've made his heart ache this deeply? Is this what you wanted to happen? Really, if you wanted the attention of a Chrysos Heir, then you should've picked Phainon, but.. Well, it's too late now. You have the attention of the God of Strife, and he's quite the selfish man.
Mydei won't mince words when it comes to you– He sees you as his anyways, so what's the point of beating around the bush? He tells you point blank that he needs you, yearns for you, that he's quite sure he'll never be whole without you– He won't push you for anything, though. Mydei can be patient. He'll wait as long as he needs to until you realize you love him, too. He doesn't need to kidnap you or hurt you because you will always belong to him. Though, if you're really uncomfortable with his attention, then fight him!! He promises to get over you if you can beat him. <3 Good luck.
Cerydra
She just. Keeps you. Cerydra is the Imperator, her word is law; nobody's going to stop her when she orders you to be chained up and imprisoned in the room directly next to hers. So what if you hate her at the moment, so what if you feel betrayed?? She owns you now!!! She could have you executed if she wanted to, but she thinks you're far too precious to die. Since she cares for you, she's willing to hear out any requests you may have (aside from asking to be unchained). You want to go on a walk? Sure, but she'll have you on a diamond encrusted leash the entire time. You want to talk to your friends? Of course!! However, Cerydra will have Hysilens stand guard at the door the entire time just in case you get any grand ideas of being rescued.
She'll make an effort to spend more time with you so you can get used to the situation quickly; usually, she'll bring some tea and a chessboard to your room to play with you (or Hyselins if you refuse to indulge her). She lets you scream and cry and curse her name as much as you want when she's there; it's better to get it all out of your system in the early days, after all. There are punishments when you misbehave, of course, but they're rather light compared to what you know she could do if she really wanted to hurt you. Mostly, it's just non-fatal sparring with Hysilens until you're too bruised and cut up to move anymore. If you complain even after that, Cerydra says that you're just lucky she doesn't tell you to fight herself.
Hysilens
I think the first person to realize that Hysilens is a yandere is actually Cerydra. Not even Hysilens herself notices when her thoughts become obsessive, and her constant attention towards you starts to border on stalking. Cerydra would be concerned if it weren't so endearing seeing Hysilens (usually someone who enjoys her solitude) follow you around with the most gentle, adoring expression on her face. You would have to be very oblivious to not notice she's started following you like a puppy.. Though she thinks it's a little amusing if you don't realize she's pining for you. (In her head, it's obvious. Who else aside from the Imperator has she ever trailed after with such devotion???) Eventually, Cerydra gets tired of seeing her Knight Commander so distracted, so she offers you to Hysilens as a gift!! No, you can't refuse. :D
Hysilens is hesitant to accept at first; she doesn't want you to hate her. :( You're so cute, and she wants you to enjoy spending time with her! :( Eventually, though, her desire to see you every morning when she wakes up wins out against her respect for your autonomy. She doesn't chain you up despite the Imperator's insistence, instead opting to put a collar on you, with one of her scales as a charm so that everyone knows you are her beloved!!! You are off limits. Anybody who tries to take you away from her will be executed on the spot. You're free to go wherever you like during the day, but please don't try to run away! Hysilens will find you no matter where you go, and she really really doesn't want to confine you to her room for an extended period of time. You want to keep your freedom, don't you?
Dan Heng - Permansor Terrae
He feels like a gross freak for obsessing over you the way he does, but he won't even try to distance himself from you despite his feelings. It's simply impossible; Dan Heng thinks he'd surely splinter into a million pieces if he parted from you for even a second. His newfound beastlike instincts make him a hundred times more territorial and protective as well, he'll grumble at anybody that gets too close to you and is not above using his newly acquired height to intimidate others into leaving you alone. If you comment on his behavior, Dan Heng will simply say that he sensed something off about the person who he scared away. You really didn't notice? They definitely had ill intentions. Just trust him when he says he's trying to protect you, because in a way, he is. Not even HE'S sure what he'd do if you tried to tell him off for isolating you (he'd bite you. A lot.. and very hard), so better safe than sorry, right?
Aside from that, though, he's pretty chill for a yandere!!! If you can ignore him building you a nest in your bedroom, waking you up in the middle of the night to show you the pretty blue bird eggs he found in a nest near your house, and trailing after you like a giant puppy at all times. Oh, and keeping you wrapped up in the coils of his tail whenever he gets jealous of your mutual friends.. :/ He also manages to sneak certain items of his into the pockets of your clothes. Nothing he'll miss! Just a broken off piece of his horn, a scale from his tail.. Consider them tokens of his affection if you find them. Maybe turn them into earrings or charms for a necklace! He'd love that! Don't throw them away. If you throw them away, he will have to keep tearing off scales and breaking sections of his horns to give you until you accept them. <3
Evernight
Evernight is the kind of yandere that is very pushy and flirtatious in her own way (her definition of flirting consists of saying cryptic things and getting as close as physically possible to you), hoping that you'll “get the hint” that she's into you. She does think it's kind of precious if you don't realize you've caught her attention, but it's also a little annoying; how is she going to convince you to stay with her for all time if you don't even realize that she WANTS THAT?? She's patient in most things, but not in this. If you don't accept/acknowledge her adoration quickly enough for her liking, she'll be forced to take drastic measures. (She is going to kidnap you.)
There is genuinely no place in Amphoreus that you can hide from Evernight either, so trying to do so is pointless. Of course, if you want to play hide and seek, then she would love to indulge you!!! She loves games. They're so fun to play. :) Knowing that YOU are the prize for when she wins makes it all the sweeter, too. Above all else, the one thing Evernight wants is to keep you safe. She wants to hold you and love you and make sure that nothing –prophecy, death, Aeons– can ever take you from her. She doesn't need to keep you confined to one space exactly, but she does prefer it.. If you beg her enough, though, she'll let you out for a little while to chat with all your old friends!! Isn't she nice? Isn't this nice? Oh, it's been ten minutes? Alright, it's time to go back now. :)

Aglaea
She's the kind of yandere who will use her influence to get rid of those who try to harm you (or who try to get too close to you), all without caring if you find out it was her doing. So what if she's ruined a few careers and gotten some nobody councilmembers killed? Some of those fossils had it coming anyway. Besides, you can't really prove that she was involved, can you? Did you see her getting her hands dirty at all? Did you see her anywhere near those people as they crashed and burned? Exactly. :) Just sit there looking pretty, and Aglaea will make sure life is a breeze for you.
When it comes down to it, Aglaea is insanely protective of you. She'll never restrict you or impose her will upon you, but she will sabotage anyone that gets in your (or her) way; this is something she won't ever apologize for. Lady Goldweaver is content to simply stay friends with you if that's what you want, as long as she gets to be beside you for the rest of your life. She loves you, adores you wants to crawl into your skin, so regardless of the label your relationship has, she'll latch onto you like a winged insect seeking blood and won't ever let go.
Phainon
If you've played Binary Star Hero, Phainon's quite similar to Binary Star in the type of yandere he becomes. I believe that his affections start out innocently enough– A simple curiosity about you, an innocent desire to meet ‐and exceed- your every expectation of him.. Then he starts getting to know you, really know you. You don't treat him like anybody else– he's not the “Deliverer” to you, he's not Amphoreus’ savior to you, he's just… Phainon. It's such a relief to be seen as normal, as human, that Phai can't help but become greedy. Suddenly, he's running into you (coincidence, he says) every other day, spending hours simply enjoying your presence.
Calling him out on his clinging only rewards you with the sweetest of puppy eyes and an apologetic smile (or a pout, if he's feeling extra devious). He'll say “Ah, I'm sorry.. I guess I've just gotten a little attached to you. Talking to you gives me such a boost before every fight!” But the thing is– Phainon has been going out to battle less and less since meeting you, and when it comes to keeping the black tide at bay, you're the one he runs to protect first; it's subtle, but the shift in his attitude is clear: Phainon is beginning to prioritize your life over anyone else's, and people are starting to get badly hurt because of it. You know his behavior will only escalate if it goes unchecked, but… Can you really bring yourself to stop spoiling him? Say no say no say no
Castorice
She's terribly shy for a yandere, and also very dangerous to boot. Since she can't touch you (can't hold your hand stroke your face kiss your hair what is she even living for anymore), her yearning has amped up by a thousandfold, and that manifests in her following you nearly everywhere you go. You'd have to be very airheaded not to notice the wilting flowers and little moths that flit about when she's near, but what can you really do? Cas hasn't harmed anyone that you're aware of, and she's kept a respectable distance from you. Perhaps she's just concerned about your health and is simply keeping an eye on you from afar.. You try to rationalize her presence because there's really nothing else that makes sense to you.
You think that she goes home at the end of the day, but unbeknownst to you, she stays nearby long after you've gone to bed. Usually Cas is content to simply keep watch in front of your home, an angelic figure standing guard until she's too weary to remain, but sometimes… Sometimes, when you turn over in bed, half awake just for a second, you catch sight of glowing lilac eyes peering at you through a window that you can't recall having left open. Every morning when you wake up, though, the window is firmly shut, and Cas is barely arriving to begin her daily watchdog duties. Huh.. Must've been a dream.
Anaxagoras
The closest you'll get to a traditional yandere, I think. He's very manipulative and underhanded, and he isn't afraid to dispose of some nosy coworkers if they try to interfere with his plans. Most of all, he truly does not feel like he's in the wrong when it comes to wanting you as much as he does, even though he knows his feelings are completely beyond reason. He has no rational explanation for why you captivate him so, and that in itself is what makes him want to study you up close. Despite Anaxa really wanting to keep you with him, he'd prefer if you decided to move in/get closer to him of your own volition. If he has no other option however, he is not above poisoning you or causing an accident in his lab that renders you bedridden (though he'd prefer not to leave lasting damage); Anaxa will do anything for you.
Is it love? If love is wanting to keep you in his quarters so that he can poke and prod at you (whilst caressing your face and giving you little kisses every now and then as a reward for behaving), then yes!! Anaxa loves you. You are so cute and so stupid, and for the first time ever, he finds that endearing instead of annoying. He's not going to completely isolate you of course, that would be cruel of him!! You can go take walks with Hyacine, and Castorice and Mydei will come talk to you every now and again. That should be enough socializing for you, right??? Right. You'll learn to be happy in your situation, don't worry.
Cipher
Cipher will be the first to tell you that you really should've seen this coming. She's a selfish girl at heart, and she wants all of the shiniest things for herself just so she can hide them away from the people who are unworthy of owning them.. Of course, that would also extend to the one true friend she's managed to make in all her years of wandering. It's your fault you didn't see the signs of her obsession, so you can't cry now that you're caged like a bird in her treasure hoard. 3:< No use waiting it out for a search party, either; nobody's coming to save you. They all think you're dead. She told them you were dead.
It was simple enough, really: Staging an attack on you by luring a black tide monster in your direction while you were just outside of Okhema's gates. Nobody saw what happened (though the guards DID hear you scream); you were just out of sight, and Cipher really had no trouble in killing the monster and subduing you. Hurting you was the last thing she wanted to do, but she had to cut you deep enough to get a significant amount of your blood on her clothing. 3: Please forgive her!! It's hard to really distinguish when Cyrene's affections for you bleed into obsession because not much changes on the surface. Spending time with you, giving you gifts, flirting with you? All normal things she does with her friends.. You really can't tell what she's thinking. The moment you let your guard down even a little, however, Cyrene will take advantage of the moment to tell you a story. INTRO
Call it recklessness, a death wish, or simple apathy in the face of your own mortality; whatever it is, you're the first on the front lines when it comes to rescue missions and efforts to push back the black tide, and the last to return to Okhema after every vicious fight. At first, people just think you're a seasoned warrior trying to prove yourself, or an idiot with a competitive streak you're eager to satiate. Then, a run in with a certain Flame Reaver leaves you a little too battered and bruised for the comfort of those that love you most. When you're called out for being so foolish, your response is entirely unexpected and even more upsetting.

Aglaea
She tells you that you're being disrespectful to the Flame-Chase journey (and to her) by throwing your life away so wantonly. Do you think the sacrifices of the Chrysos Heirs are not enough? Do you think her and her peers' thousands of years of strategizing have been for nothing? Aglaea is quick to remind you that the fight she and the other Heirs have been fighting has been for regular people like you this entire time, and implores you to stop being foolish; call her harsh, but there's nothing romantic about some random civilian who throws themself into danger just because they can.
Aglaea can't make you see the value in your life, but she will try to give reasons for you to live in a way that won't end in your unnecessary death. She'd see it as a failure on her part if you died now, and.. Well, she'd also be very lonely with one less person to call a friend.
Phainon
"… No?" He just outright refuses to believe that you're so apathetic to your own life. It doesn't compute to Phai that anyone in the world could just not care about staying alive. If you were merely depressed, he could understand, but this..? It takes a while (a few days at least) for Phainon to come to terms with the fact you just don't seem to care. When he does, he decides that it's his job to make you love this life!!!
You'll have to deal with Phai being by your side constantly, trying to get you excited about new events and silly projects going on around Okhema… He's very anxious whilst you're in the process of healing, and might even cry a bit when he thinks you're sleeping. Phainon just wants to help you love this world as much as he does— Enough to desire to stay and build something meaningful (hopefully with him)!!
Castorice
She might actually raise her voice at you because you are so stupid and stubborn and insane and GODS GRANT HER PATIENCE. Cas has spent so long fearing death and being lonely because of her curse blessing. Wanting to live, to be selfish, has always been Castorice's one unattainable wish in this world; the idea that someone could just not care about the wonderful, normal life they've been given makes her so angry!! She might cry from how frustrated your indifference gets her.
In the end, Cas knows she can't make you change your mind. Human beings are stubborn, and you must be the most stubborn of them all if you can't see how precious your life is, so.. She stays with you while you're healing, making you food and reading books to you, just trying to make sure you're healing quickly. Someday, she'll figure out how to show you the beauty of life, but until then, she'll just make sure she's there to stop you from taking it for granted.
Mydeimos
Mydei is (for once) extremely silent upon realizing you don't care about your life. In any other situation, he might have insulted you or tossed a sarcastic remark your way, but now??? After you faced off with the Flame Reaver and only lived because that thing deemed you too unimportant to kill? Mydei is simply lost. It takes him a moment to calm down enough to explain (tone clipped, eyes boring right into your soul) how you only have the one life you've been given. He can brute force his way back from the River, he can return as many times as he needs to– You can't.
It's silly, but Mydei thinks that if he just emphasizes how little time you really have on this planet, you'll realize that you shouldn't be wasting it by throwing yourself into dangerous situations. He hates admitting when things get to him, but seeing you on what was nearly your death bed really rattles him. He tries to keep you occupied from then on so you can't go back to the battlefield: sparring with you, visiting the grove with you, doing mundane chores together. He doesn't know how to help you, but he'll at least keep you busy for as long as he can.
Anaxagoras (tw kidnapping)
Anaxa is, first and foremost, an opportunist. Is he happy you nearly died to a being that rivals the supposed power of the Gods? No, but he makes the most of the situation and uses it to work in his favor. He moves you to the grove under the guise of monitoring your condition and keeps you locked in his quarters with only a select few visitors (Hyacine, Castorice..) allowed to see you. Your reasons for being a fool aren't important to Anaxa; clearly you aren't in your right mind and he has to keep you confined for your safety (using that logic, it's hard for anyone to really argue with him).
You don't care if you live or die, right? So this situation shouldn't matter then! Anaxa is just trying to fix you, that's all. You don't have to worry about anything anymore— living, dying… Just stay here beside him, existing in his space. There's no need to throw yourself into danger anymore, nor is there any need to think. You can let him handle everything from now on.
Cipher
Cipher will smack you upside the head for pulling a stupid stunt like that— and you'd better not do it again! She doesn't care what your reasoning is, you're insane if you think she'd let you just keel over and die like this. Not that she cares, or anything! Just… Well, you've barely scratched the surface of everything this life has to offer, so you need to stick around for a while longer! >:0 She won't take no for an answer, so you'd better get used to having a stray cat sneaking into your room constantly.
Cipher's never been good at feelings, so she'll try to avoid them while simultaneously being there for you every step of your recovery. She'll be talking your ear off, turning up with snacks from the local vendors that she definitely paid for, showing off trinkets and treasures she's "collected" over the years— Anything she can think of to entertain you, she'll do. Maybe Cipher doesn't know what'll make you want to live, but she does try to give you something to look forward to every day.
Cerydra
Oh, woe! One of her devoted subjects, in such a sorry state? Cerydra can hardly bear it! … Yeah, no. She's pissed. She'd consider this treason if she thought you'd even care about the punishment, but since it's you, she just considers it a personal slight against herself and nothing more. She still has work to do, so she can't be there 24/7, but she'll stop by whenever she can to read to you and talk about the things you missed while tucked away in your bedroom. When she can't visit, she sends Hysilens to play music for you during mealtimes.
It's less of her being considerate for you and more of a waiting game to see how long until you apologize for putting yourself in harms way. You never had Cerydra's permission to die, and certainly not for the Flame-Chase journey. If you don't apologize, she'll be a bit colder to you for a while… Eventually, she'll let it go as long as you promise you won't try to get yourself killed for nothing.
Hysilens
Hysilens understands you far better than anyone else does because she felt that way for a very long time after the fall of Styxia. With her family gone and no feasts to be shared, Hysilens fell into a state of passiveness about many things, her own life included. She may not know why you feel the way you do, but she can at least promise you to help you find your guiding flame. Perhaps she should scold you for risking your life, but she really doesn't have the heart to do so. She simply says, "If you die, we will not be able to drink together at the next celebration.." (so please don't die.)
Hysilens has many things that keep her away from you throughout the day, but the Imperator is benevolent enough to grant her time out of her busy schedule to serenade you when you wake up in the morning, and at night before you go to bed. She'd much prefer to be singing for you under better circumstances, but she hopes her song is healing for you (for your mind AND spirit) regardless.
