Elysian Fields Archive welcomes back Mystery Month this July, which means it’s time for the most important part of the event: Creating the mystery!

That’s right—WE NEED PROMPTS.

The fun thing with Mystery Month, is that all the prompts are created by the community.

What do we do with the prompts? Every week, a small selection of prompts will be shared. Creators will have ONE WEEK to write and post the next chapter of their fic/artwork that includes their prompt of choice in some way. You only need to choose one, but if you really want to challenge yourself and use all, feel free! We’ll certainly be impressed.

What prompts? Well, for that, we’re turning to all of you beautiful (and totally not slimy) chaos demons for ideas.

Prompts can be the name of a character, an object, a location, a color, a number––pretty much anything you want.

Our current features explore all the unique ways our creators have opted to tell Spuffy stories. Text messages? Pictures? Diary entries? Yes please. Spuffy finds their way to each other in all formats.

At the time, no one could have known that we would still be here nearly three decades later, celebrating her enduring legacy. Just like no one could have known this show would launch the ultimate E2L ship -- that which many try to imitate, but never manage to duplicate.

Love this for us.

Our current Featured Works explore post-series life for Spuffy. Love, devotion, and adventure is a given -- as is a bit of rough and tumble. They (and we) wouldn't have it any other way.
