I see a lot of people say Apollo can’t sing or Apollo cant write poetry and it confuses me to no end. Because Apollo is even stated in the books (e.g., book 1 in the Myremekes’ hill during his unnamed song; The Fall of Jason Grace) to still be able to sing and be amazing while doing so, bringing people to tears and rendering others catatonic. So why is it so common for people to say he can’t sing? Unless he were to do it on purpose I guess.

For poetry—and I even see this in the books—Percy saying at some point they (Apollos haiku(why haiku? Someone ask Rick this if it hasn’t happened already lol)) were horrible (forgot which book.. could be The Singer of Apollo or The Titans Curse to be honest). I don’t see why Rick would write it like this unless Apollo was doing it on purpose as I said with singing (this is how I choose to interpret it so I can cope), because otherwise it makes no logical sense. How would he not be good at his own domain, even when he returned to godhood/pre trials? Why would this even be considered a skill that is hindered by being mortal, if even considered as such, since he’s already said to be bad beforehand? Really, I just choose to see it as him deciding to be bad on purpose to fuck with people, because otherwise, idk.

photo 1 we got KAYLA!!! My goat. Photo 2 we got Apollo and Kayla. YES I’m a firm believer in feminine Apollo. Even as Lester. He’s a fact got. Photo 3, Apollo ran at Kayla after showing up (and waking up, considering he passed out. Again) at camp. Doesn’t make sense in the timeline but fuck it we ball. Photo 4 we got Will and Kayla. Kayla is confused. Apollo is bleeding. He missed his kids.

PHOTO 5 I HAVE SO MUCH TO SAU IT. GETS ITS OWN PARAGRAPH. ok so this was a headcanon of mine that I thought up that on every Apollo kids 13th birthday they get a little gift box with a gold plated earring !!! The one they get is not random, they just have SO MANY sitting in storage and it’s js tradition for every Apollo camper to choose one on their 13th birthday (of course, they don’t have to wear it in their ear. They could put the hoop on their camp necklace).

this stemmed from Rachel and her blue plastic hairbrush btw so of course she was the first I thought up, Apollo/Lester’s vital instrument would prolly be Arrow of Dodona, Meg her rings, so on so forth (I did ToA characters first cause I was actively rereading it).

and I didn’t want it to just be their weapons for every demigod, sure demigods take care of their weapons but it’s supposed it be something of sentimental value (and that’s not to say I think a VI (abbrv.) cannot be a weapon, for demis like Annabeth who got their main weapon from a important event (e.g., Annabeths and her dagger from Luke, Piper and Katoptris) definitely could).

some demigods are harder to think of unique VIs for though, I feel like having too many demigods VIs be actual weapons defeats the purpose.

the 2nd one doesn’t really make sense but I had to put something for that clip and I couldn’t think of anything else. I was going to do his godly bow but I decided against it so now it’s the bronze ukulele.
