This is never not going to be funny.

the most fucked up part of long long time is that the bill/frank storyline only took 40 minutes. the rest of the episode is still monumentally important dont get me wrong but it's so fucking wild that they did. THAT. in 40 minutes. what most movies can't do in two plus hours, what most tv shows can't accomplish in seasons. its mind-boggling. the most touching, poignant, well acted, genuine, down to earth, bittersweet romance. between two men in their fifties and beyond. a first love. a life of good days making it worth the bad. like. just sandwiched casually in the middle of an apocalyptic drama. what the fuck??

the look of pure rage on joel’s face when henry prevents him from going to help ellie as she is being attacked… pedro pascal you fucking asshole. the look on henry’s face as he realizes what he has done… the way he says “sam”… lamar johnson you fucking king. the little scream ellie does when henry shoots himself… bella ramsay you fucking angel. THAT scene was brutal.

The tears that painted my face when I realized that Bill and Frank got to live 16 years with each other with no judgement, no fear of homophobia and they got to die together on their own terms, not taken away from each other cruelly and I’m glad that the team decided to throw out the “one person in gay couple tragically dies while the other has to suffer the loss”
