Mason mount
The conversation of getting engaged came up far to often for a couple of weâre only 22, but there was no one else mason would want to make his wife you were his best friend and he knew one day you would be the mother of his children, he even let you in on his thoughts on your second date commenting on how âour children will definitely be that cuteâ as you people watched during your picnic date, his comment was something you never let him live down using it to prove he really was obsessed with you from the moment you met.
Asking you to be his wife had been on his mind for years now, your engagement ring sitting in his sock drawer for far too long as he insisted he was simply waiting for âthe right momentâ but a Sunday morning in bed or a date night during his lads holiday simply didnât feel special enough for the beginning of a new chapter in your lifeâs.
It wasnât unknown that you were Masonâs biggest supporter, no matter where his game was on in the rain, hail or sunshine you could be found in the stands waiting from your boyfriend with open arms no matter the result. The night of the champions league final felt like the perfect time to ask you to be his wife, after years of being the one to push mason to be his best and to whisper encouraging words when he felt like he wasnât good enough, he wanted to give something back to you to show just how committed he was to you also and so he could put his worries at ease, not even wanting to think of a time where you werenât in his life.
âWill you marry me?â He whispers the fear evident in his eyes as if watches you raise your eyebrows and laugh it off since he would often insist on making you his wife one day. âI would get down on one knee but I know you would say no with all these people watchingâ he giggles nervously watching your eyes dart up from the medal hanging around his neck to see that he really was being serious, his eyebrows furrowing as he started to bite his lip, something he only does when he is nervous.
âYour ring is in my sock drawer, I know we are young and I really didnât plan this wellâ his rambling being cut of by a kiss that simply made all his worries melt away, it wasnât the most romantic or thought out proposal but it just felt right, his dream of becoming a champions league winner and making you his wife were thoughts that kept him awake at night as a young boy, it was now his reality and he could hardly believe his luck.
Ben Chilwell
You always felt like you would know when Ben was going to ask to be his wife, you simply couldnât hide anything from each other but with the very unexpected arrival of your twin boys, the thought of even getting engaged was out on a back burner as you adjusted in your new role as parents.
Ben knew he loved you quite early on into your relationship but there was no greater love than watching the mother of your children always being there to comfort your boys, the loud sound of laughter always greeting him at the door after training and while your babies were almost a carbon copy of their dad they had so many qualities that would always remind him of you, simply things like catching one of the twins humming a tune under their breath as they played with their toys or how they would go all shy whenever they received a compliment, their rosy cheeks reminding him of your first date.
Ben never wanted his life to change, his job was something he felt like was an unachievable dream from a young age and he got to come home to his gorgeous girlfriend and sons. While Ben imagined getting down on one knee in front of the Eiffel Tower or the Maldives when two kids are throw into the picture everything is hard to plan, finding himself sneaking the boys off into town to help him find a ring when really they were no help at all as they wanted you to have the biggest and sparkly ring they had in the shop.
Your Sunday morning started off like any other, being woken up by two toddlers bouncing on your bed as you hoped to get a few more hours of sleep. âWe have a secret and daddy said not to tell youâ your youngest twin cheekily giggled which earned him a smack in the ribs from his brother and while you were about to remind Ben that keeping secrets is not a good thing to be teaching the boys you simply forgot what you were annoyed about as you watched him appear from behind a door with two mugs of tea and his hair still messy, your favourite look on him although he could never understand why.
âWill you marry daddy?â The boiling hot tea threatening to drop from your hand as you listen to your sons question, your youngest clearly couldnât wait till tonight to let you in on there little secret, âMe and the boys had dinner and everything planned for you but someone obviously doesnât want to waitâ he sighed as he searched through his bedside table.
âWill you finally be my wife?â he laughs at how unromantic the whole thing is, âof course I willâ your answer bearly leaving your mouth as you were instantly engulfed from a hug from your two sons, Ben not even able to get a second word in as it was much more important for the twins to tell you how they picked out the ring and how good they were at keeping a secret, snuggling into your new fiancĂ©âs side not a word being able to share a word but it didnât mattered as you both embraced the feeling of contentment, your perfect family now complete.
