hi :3 im a multiply disabled 20 y/o trans girl. im moderate autistic and chronically suicidal- due to conditions out of my control. i had to drop out of high school, and in my country that makes jobs way less available- im lucky enough to work fulltime but it pays very little.

im going to get my adult leavers cert, but that requires time taken off work i cant really afford to take :/

theres a huge variety of things that would make life less painful rn- disability supports, furniture more suited to my chronic pain, etc

i know its a lot to ask, but i really need help making things less Actively Hostile to me- hopefully this is the last time i have to ask for help! things are looking up once i can afford to take the adult diploma!

i need about 1500 USD to make things actually livable. this will go towards things like medical care and accommodations and helping with things while i get the adult matric.

Peace be upon you Thank you for your interest. My father needs an urgent operation, but the capabilities in Gaza do not allow for this operation because it is delicate and dangerous. We are waiting for him to be transferred outside Gaza through the World Health Organization, as he has a narrowing in the artery that connects to the brain. Until we are able to do that, the doctors are giving him intensive medications so that he does not have a stroke. These medications are expensive and rare due to the siege on Gaza. He needs treatment every week with no less than 700 US dollars. The problem is that the donation money does not reach us in full. There are commissions paid that are not less than 30% of the transferred amount [end image/translation].

we didn’t see any shots of lestat’s head in the bowling bag. we saw him burn, but it was portrayed as comical. we did not see bruce as he died, we did not see lestat get torn up by the wolves, we did not watch nicki die. in the majority of the scenes where a white character is injured, the action is cut away, out of frame, out of focus, mostly implied.

We give out food for free to people dealing with food insecurity, no questions asked. We deliver food to folks who can’t leave their homes due to lack of transportation or disability. We grow veggies at the McRorie Community Garden! All produce is distributed through our pantries.

Hi! The city of Gainesville, Florida is one of the worst places in America to be homeless, but the good news is that it's also in the middle of an apocalyptic housing crisis. Large swaths of the city, including its remaining Black neighborhoods, are food deserts. The Gainesville Free Grocery Store distributes free food to the hungry and needy on the 2nd Tuesday of each month at the Civic Media Center at 433 South Main Street downtown, and they help a lot of people and are saving lives. They could use support!

Donating Food

As of November 2025, we can accept food donations at Working Food (219 NW 10th Ave. Gainesville, FL) on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10a-2p. If you have a larger donation you’d like to make but cannot come during those times, please email us to coordinate an alternate drop-off time.

You can also donate food on the same day as our food pantries at the Civic Media Center (433 S. Main St.) as early as 12 pm. On good weather days, you can drop off food in the courtyard, but please text us if you’ve left food so that we know and can bring it inside.

Guidelines for what we can and prefer to accept are as follows:

Packaged food – Must be unopened and unexpired

Canned proteins (beans, tuna, chicken)

Grains (rice, pasta, flour, cornmeal)

Shelf-stable milks

Oils (vegetable, olive, etc.)

Snacks (crackers, gummies, applesauce)

Ground coffee

Baby food

We always appreciate gluten-free products and vegan substitutes!

Fruits and vegetables

Must not be moldy or severely damaged

We welcome farm or garden-fresh vegetables!

Eggs

We cannot accept farm-fresh eggs due to food safety guidelines

Prepared food

We cannot accept fresh/homemade prepared food
