Tiny Refuge EP and East Coast Tour!
I’m very happy to announce that our new EP, Tiny Refuge is now available! Head over to our bandcamp to pick it up for whatever price you can afford.
Those of you who have seen us live in the past year have definitely heard us play “Madison” and “The Feels” before – we’re excited to finally be able to share these studio versions with you. Will Harris and Jon Graber did an excellent job on the production end, and Ilana Hope’s cover art is nothing short of beautiful. We even got our friends Jackie and Guli to lay down some sweet backing vocals. We’re very lucky that we have the privilege of working with such talented and lovely people!
I’m sure the ska kids will be quick to point out that there’s no horns on this release. We’ve always functioned as something of a collective –anyone who’s followed us over the years has seen us play as a three-piece, an eight-piece, and everything in between. We’ve been a fairly consistent four-person unit ever since our multi-instrumentalist baby Matan joined the motley crew last summer, so we really wanted to showcase the core of our current live show. We’re very proud of the final results! Don’t get too comfortable though – we’re hard at work writing our next full-length, and we’re not the type to repeat ourselves to repeat ourselves to repeat ourselves.
