Ever since I was a baby I dubbed my grandma, Maya. I recently looked it up and according to ancient Vedic literature, Maya literally implies extraordinary power and wisdom. Maya made everyone feel special. She went out โabove and beyondโ for others. Anywhere she went, anyone she talked to, she brightened their day. Maya always had something โabsolutely wonderfulโ to speak about. She put others first. Never missing a birthday or holiday. Maya was โtotally organized.โ Going out of her way to send me packages just in time for (every!) holiday. The box would arrive โtotally stuffedโ with goodies and love. Inside a handwritten, heartfelt letter, hand-decorated. I knew every sticker on the inside was placed there with love. The last package sheโll send me came a few days before Halloween. Inside was a pumpkin. Customized by grandma. It says Bryanna and Frankie. The inside, gift wrapped so beautiful. Every inch and corner stuffed with holiday sweets, and pudding mix with handwritten instructions how she makes it. Also inside, a hand-picked assortment of leaves, from Maya and Paโs backyard. One of each fall color. Iโm a long way from home and she knows I miss her. She knows Iโll appreciate it. Maya is my Godmother. She is my light and shining star. I am forever grateful to have the most remarkable Maya a grand-daughter could ever have. :) (at Livonia, Michigan) https://www.instagram.com/p/CIJgzgQFmBo/?igshid=bb0jgfkys77l
