Murphy quirked an eyebrow and smirked, he would’ve replied but the tray had distracted him so he swiped one of the sandwiches off of it and popped it into his mouth anyways. “Hey, I’ll take anything that’s free.” He replied, he noticed that the peanut butter stuck to his teeth a little and after he swallowed, he used his tongue to try and brush it away. He shrugged. “Could be better.”

He laughed and shook his head. “Well hang on a second.” He reached around and handed him a small brown bag. “Don’t ever say I risked my job for you, alright?” He threw another mini sandwich into his mouth and placed the tray back down. “It’s bagels from yesterday. We had a bunch, they were gonna get thrown out anyways.” He told him with a shrug. 

Murphy grinned widely at the sudden sound of Kieran’s voice, good. He’d been hoping that the other would be working today. “Anderson, I’m doing just great.” He replied, with a curt nod. He gave an exaggerated sigh. “Aw and here I was, thinking that it was just because you liked me.” He said, brushing past Kieran and moving into the store. He rolled his eyes. “What free samples you got today?”

Kieran laughed and shook his head. “Yeah but I don’t like you enough to keep risking my job.” He joked. Kieran reached around and grabbed the tray, it looked like mini peanut butter and jelly sandwiches on their fresh bread. “Looks like the PB&J minis, I don’t know if you want em, they’re decent on this type of bread.” He admitted with a shrug, taking one and tossing it into his mouth.  

Kieran pulled the door open to the bakery and spotted a familiar face. ​“Murphy, hey!” He exclaimed. “How are ya doing?” Kieran asked. “Are you here because you think I’m gonna give you another freebie, I told you, that was a one time thing.” He continued with a laugh.
