Cory smiled. He didn’t think she would actually let him, so he quickly laid out a towel beside her and laid beside her, looking up into the sun happily. “Did you have anything to do with this good weather?” He teased a bit, though feeling like a good conversation starter. it’d been a bit since he’d spoken to another witch about something more casual without the drama of living as a witch in Crown Point. “I know your touch of magic.”

elizabeth laughed softly at cory’s question. “well you know, a girl never reveals her secrets. and if i did, some people might try to use my magic to make the weather how they like it. let me just say this is my perfect weather.” the brunette replied to him. elizabeth never was shy to use magic to make her life easier. she had been a witch for hundreds of years, so using magic was like second nature to her.

     various people came and went in her club, masters and mistresses with the slaves they had either claimed or rented, residents too. others of all various supernatural species wandered inside, though of course the rabble were kept out by her bouncers, her night club was far more classy than some others. turning her gaze when the witch spoke up, “i think as the owner of this place, you should offer your suggestions and see if any pique my interest.”

“well i don’t know what you are interested in. we could dance, talk over a drink, or really anything. i’m not a picky person and pretty much up to do anything.” the brunette said with a soft smile. when it came to the other supernatural creatures, elizabeth felt the most comfortable around since they never caused her a lot of pain like humans did while she was growing up. 

     sitting at the upper bar at her nightclub, venu, amara felt her boredom grow. sure the boardwalk night, more than a few nights ago had been interesting but not much had come out of it. she hadn’t even found a slave to take home for the night which was quite sad for the succubus elder. sighing lightly, she brought the glass to her lips and took a long sip. “unless you’re here to make my night more fun and interesting, i’d suggest pissing off.”

elizabeth decided to go to the night club to get something to drink and be able to relax for a few hours before she retired for the night her bed. she noticed samara sitting all but herself, so the witch made her way up to the succubus to see if she wanted company or anything. “matters what you have in mind for fun or interesting. because i may be able to help you out, just matters what you want.”

           “D’ya think someone would rent me and take me to the pool? I would just really like to go to the pool. Just to cool off for a little while. Float around.”

“it really matters. if you are good company i think there might be a brunette witch who is willing to grant you that wish.” elizabeth said with a soft smile.

“Oh, come on -” Cory gave her a a short eye roll. Obvious, just teasing. “Can’t I just come sit with you?” He tried to give her his best charming smile, but he knew the older Witch wouldn’t fall for anything. He would love to just relax, rest in the sun alongside her.  “I promise I don’t wan anything this time.” He was sure he probably had bothered her once or twice needing some kind of last minute supply, but he was honest now. There was nothing he needed to borrow or buy off her, and had just stumbled across her company luckily.

the witch rolled her eyes at cory. “fine. just don’t bother me too much. i don’t really ever have much time to just relax and rest, and that’s what i want to do today.” she explained to him. elizabeth came to crown point to finally be able to relax. here she didn’t have to worry about humans or hunters bothering her, but then again, if they did she could end them as quickly as they came near her. 

“Is that yours that you dropped?” he called out to the person passing by. Maxwell hadn’t seen them drop anything, but it was always better to be sure. “Just figured you wouldn’t want to leave it sitting there if it was.”

the brunette looked at maxwell, then at the item that he was holding up to her. elizabeth didn’t think that she dropped something, but she just wanted to make sure she didn’t. “no it isn’t. sorry.”

“I told you.” Cory licked his lips as he stared into the open grave at the cemetery. Nothing in there - yet, but schedule for later on that day. He’d even gone out of this own way to tell the man to change the tires on his car, but of course it was dismissed. brought now to present time, where Cory stood just looking into the grave whole. He heard a few steps approaching him, which had him lick his lips and look over the shoulder. “I have permission to be here, not just some weird goth kid.”

elizabeth had been out for a walk when she noticed someone in the cemetery, so the witch went to go investigate the situation. that’s when she noticed cory looking into the grave. and being her curious self, the witch wanted to see what he was up to. she went over to him, trying to be quiet, hoping that she wouldn’t let him know of her presence to soon and leave the situation he was in before she could as him about it. “are you sure about that?” she asked with a soft laugh. “am i allowed to ask what you are doing here?”

skylar was having her ‘free, out’ time with the other slaves, the brunette leant against a wall with her arms folded in front of her chest. she wasn’t the talking type, especially after everything that had happened. the only thing on her mind was how to get the fuck out of there…but hopelessness mixed with her feeling extremely helpless wasn’t helping. that’s when someone literally tugged on her hair. “what? what do you want?” the girl asked, glancing up.

elizabeth had gone to see the going ons with the slaves. she wanted to see how they interacted with each other when they were given some freedom. she noticed skylar standing by herself, not really interaction with any of the other slaves. so the brunette walked over to her to see what was going on. she tugged in the human’s hair to get her attention. “wanted to see if you were still alive.” the witch said.
